Eric and Angela have spent more than 25 years serving the elderly in different capacities. Eric was President & CEO of large, faith-based retirement communities for over 22 years. These retirement communities had Assisted and Independent living apartments and townhomes, Memory care households, Skilled Nursing Care, Short-Term rehabilitation facilities, Adult Day Care and much more. Angela has served as the Development Director and Independent Living Director. As Development Director she raised money for capital campaigns, annual campaigns, annual benefit dinners and many other fundraising events. The best thing about home care though is the one-on-one aspect of caring for our clients. We know our quality of care is high and the client's quality of life is best when we take care of people individually.
Eric and Angela have 5 kids and 2 dogs, which is what they spend most of their time on when away from work!
I began at Home instead in June 2017 as a Quality Assurance Coordinator after receiving a B.S. in Health and Human Science at Bridgewater College. I enjoy sitting down with members of the community and families to see how they can use Home Instead as a partner in changing the face of aging. As a Home Care Consultant I do exactly that. I am responsible for representing Home Instead, controlling our social media presence, and building relationships with the communities around us! It's personal to me because my grandparents and parents are aging right here as well so my goal is to be a resource to make the transition of aging easier for everyone. I'm easy to find in the community, so feel free to pull me aside and say hi!
Stephenie returned to the Home Instead family after a brief hiatus. She is educated in many aspects of the company but thoroughly enjoys the position of recruitment and retention. Steph has a passion for people, and that makes her a great asset to the team. Her passion gives her the advantage to see the needs of our clients and to find only the best employees. Stephenie is happily married and has 3 dogs. In her leisure time, she enjoys seeing movies with friends, cooking, and playing fetch with her fur babies.
In 2008 Janel graduated from Southwestern Michigan College as a Medical Assistant. She joined the Home Instead team in May 2017 as a caregiver. While caring for our clients she always treated them as if they were her own family. Janel enjoys meeting new people, and learning about them, in order to find the best match with our clients. She is empathetic, engaging and motivated about assisting our caregivers with providing the best possible care for each and every one of our clients. At Home Instead caring is our passion, and it starts with our caregivers. Janel takes pride in inspiring our experienced caregivers to pursue additional training to further their career with Home Instead. Developing strong relationships from the beginning is the foundation of everything she does, both professionally and personally. Let’s turn your passion into a career. Remember you are already a Caregiver, you just don’t know it yet.
April was a CAREgiver with Home Instead Senior Care for four years before taking the position of Quality Assurance Coordinator in the Mishawaka office. April enjoys spending time with our clients, getting to know them, and giving them the best quality of life possible. Throughout the day, April does Quality Assurance visits with the clients to ensure they do not have a change in condition, updates, or concerns of any kind. She believes being a part of and engaging our seniors will make a lasting impression and lives by our motto, "To us, it's personal."
I assist our quality assurance team by performing quality visits with any clients that reside in our local assisted living or independent living facilities. I also oversee our partnership with Allied Physicians Surgery Center, assisting their total joint replacement patients so that they can safely recover in their own home instead of having to stay in the hospital after their surgery. If you would like more information about this partnership, please contact me.
Cyndi has always had a passion for caregiving. She goes above and beyond looking out for the well being of our clients and making sure the family understands what needs to be done also. She took care of her mother, aunt and grandmother for years when they became ill and has been a Home Instead CAREGiver for years before taking on this role as Client Care Coordinator. Cyndi loves working with the Home Instead team and finds that it takes a combination of skills and patience to make each client happy, safe, secure, and loved.

Kari, and her husband Nick have 4 beautiful daughters who keep them busy and are always traveling for sporting events.
Alyssia has been with Home Instead for serveral years. She has settled into her role as service coordinator beautifully. Her focus on the client's wishes, needs and personalities prove that the matches she make are long lasting relationships between CAREGiver and client. She always has a smile on her face and speaks to everyone in the kindest manner possible. Alyssia has two crazy boys and spends most of her time with them or renovating houses with her boyfriend. You can stop in and see Alyssia anytime at our new Goshen Office!

"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
