Are you passionate and interested in working with the senior population? Would you like to explore a career as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care? We are accepting people with no experience to high-levels of experience. We have the only CAREGiver Training Center in Baton Rouge and we can teach you any activities of daily living (ADL's) that you may not know or just need some brushing up on. Some of these ADL's include bathing, dressing, grooming and incontinence care. We are an International non-medical Home Care Company that has been serving seniors in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas for 18 years. Home Instead Senior Care® is the world’s largest and trusted source of non-medical and home care for seniors over 22 years. The Baton Rouge Franchise office currently has an open full-time position for a scheduling coordinator. As the scheduling coordinator you’ll have the important responsibility to fill daily open shifts by matching the right CAREGiver to a client’s needs and personality in a fast paced environment. This position fits best with an individual who has exceptional planning and organization skills, adaptable to change and resilient. Compassion with a helpful attitude is very important as you will build strong relationships by effective communication and good listening skills. This individual must have a pro-active work ethic, ability to problem solve, be detailed oriented and the ability to build trusting relationships over the phone.
Proficient computer skills working with database system, MS Outlook and MS OFFICE is a must. Previous staffing or scheduling experience is a plus!
Must have the availability to rotate back-up responsibilities in the evenings and weekends with other administrative staff.
