As a CAREGiver:

Work flexible hours to suit your needs

  • Home Instead Senior Care offers shifts designed to best suit our client needs, Including morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and overnight shifts available.

Receive training

  • Home Instead Senior Care provides hands on, industry relevant training available to expand the knowledge and skill level of our CAREGiviers. (*Training will support Home Care Aide Registry annual training requirements).

Enjoy excellent compensation

  • $12.50-$14.00 hourly-Home Instead Senior Care is proud to be in the 90th percentile of competitive pay rate for the Home Care Aide industry. Our pay rate reflects applicant experience level. It's important to Home Instead Senior Care that our CAREGivers are generously compensated for their talents and skills. 

At Home Instead, we are very proud to offer:

  • Client and CAREGiver referral bonuses.

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. 

Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Starting wages are $ 13.00 per hour.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Alzheimer’s Care
*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
 
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid California driver’s license and valid auto insurance
  • Must have your own reliable transportation
  • Able to work weekends
  • Must be at least 21 years
  • Must be able to poses a tuberculoses (TB) test upon hiring
