Home Care Consultant

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a Home Care Consultant to sell our services in the Northern Kentucky community and build increased awareness regarding Home Instead's services for seniors.  The person in this role would work closely with the owner to develop a marketing plan that will build upon Home Instead's 20 years of experience working with seniors, and raise its profile in the community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of in-home services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.   

Join our fast growing company, in the growing senior care industry, and help us to promote the Home Instead brand and services to seniors and the senior care professional community in Northern Kentucky!    


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Primary duty is to sell Home Instead's services, and meet and exceed weekly/monthly goals, using the Home Instead consultative sales methodology
  • Collaborate with the owner to develop a strategic marketing plan for the Northern Kentucky market
  • Network throughout the Northern Kentucky market to build awareness of Home Instead and build relationships that produce new clients
  • Be compassionate and dedicated to improving seniors' lives and well-being
  • Be able to position Home Instead technology as a competitive advantage
  • Represent Home Instead at networking and social events
  • Responsible for researching and developing client relationships and producing referrals
  • Achieve inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include, but are not limited to, hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, funeral homes, etc.
  • In conjunction with Home Instead Senior Care franchise leadership, develops sales and marketing plans, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Home Instead Senior Care brand.  Effectively present Home Instead Senior Care marketing materials and services to referral providers, including 1:1 meetings, as well as planning, arranging and conducting group presentations to referral providers..
  • Develop a database of qualified leads from referrals through "impressions" with referral providers, email, telephone and Web.
  • Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations as needed
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects, and co-workers.  

Requirements
  • College Degree
  • Prior experience in the senior care industry desired but not required
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding goals and sales quotas 
  • Proven ability to conduct meetings at Director, VP, and C Suite level within the medical community
  • Proven ability to conduct group presentations
  • Must be a team player and at times assist with tasks that fall outside primary business development role
  • Show a true passion for improving seniors' lives and well-being
  • Enjoy meeting people and building mutually beneficial relationships
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel

Lead Recruiter

Job Details

Objective:

Home Instead Northern Kentucky is growing and we are in need of a Lead Recruiter to actively search for and hire new Caregivers to care for our local seniors. The Lead Recruiter is expected to recruit, screen, hire, and onboard a staff of quality CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to our clients in Northern Kentucky.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new recruitment strategies online and within the community.
  • Bring fresh, exciting, innovative approaches to the caregiver recruiting role 
  • Successfully market Home Instead to prospective caregivers as the Employer of Choice in Northern Kentucky.
  • Actively search for new candidates and be able to quickly guide them through the interviewing process from application to hire.
  • Manage recruitment ads and post job positions as necessary.
  • Build relationships with local recruiting contacts throughout the Northern Kentucky community
  • Check in frequently with leads within the applicant tracking system.
  • Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Follow the Home Instead Senior Care Standards; conduct reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle check and drug screens on all CAREGivers.
  • Reflect the core values of Northern Kentucky Home Health Care(d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Support the team environment within our office and perform any and all other functions deemed necessary

Experience Requirements:

  • Previous recruitment experience
  • High school degree
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Northern Kentucky Home Health Care LLC, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies and procedures
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work
  • Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the franchise owner, office colleagues, CAREGivers and the community
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must have the availability to work evenings or weekends as required
  • Must have the ability to perform duties in a professional office setting
  • Must have the ability to work as a part of a team
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills
