The Home Health Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator is expected to manage a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling and dispatching service for Home Care Clients.. The healthcare Scheduling Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and CareGivers in order to provide the highest home care quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships. Time management & creativity skills a must in the healthcare industry for Home Care services. The Home Health experience requires a coordinator paying attention to detail.

Primary Healthcare Home Care Scheduler Responsibilities :

  • Manage home care incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Create and maintain Client and CareGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and the development of extraordinary relationships in healthcare.
  • Coordinate, schedule, mediate, and log all staffing and dispatching activity utilizing the software system for healthcare home care services.
  • Follow up and coordinate with all Client and employee logistics while staffing to ensure their home care problems are resolved and improving home health home care services.
  • Schedule and enter accurate client and CareGiver records in the home care software system. Updating home health notes pertaining to the clients home care visits.
  • Increase client loyalty to by utilizing the consultative sales process to better meet our current client needs by effectively scheduling & providing home health healthcare needs.
  • Schedule follow up with all employees and Client issues to ensure problems are resolved and communicated. Scheduler must be have an eye for home care detail and healthcare.
  • Staff, schedule, design, test and implement a responsive contingency plan that ensures 100% maintenance of home care service hours in Home Health. Dispatch with detail instructions and healthcare requirements.
  • Schedule and provide staffing with Client and CareGiver Introductions and communicate to the Client/Client Representative the date and time of the Intro.to meet healthcare expectations in Home Care Home Health.
  • Schedule and capture opportunities to increase Home Health service hours in scenarios to enhance and/or increase quality home care as the Scheduler / Staffing manager.
  • Manage new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, enter the information into the healthcare software system and work with Home Health Care team to communicate and schedule the Home Care Care Consultation.
  • Maintain and staff regular attendance at the office to execute home health job responsibilities in Healthcare.
  • Scheduling & Staffing requires open and effective communication with colleagues, empolyees, clients and family members. Effectively build relationships with staff & clients to provide a favorable home health setting promoting an expert home care environment.
  • Adheres to all Home Care Home Health company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the Healthcare Home Health Home Care Team.

Objective :
The Human Resources Hiring Coordinator  is responsible for department management over CAREGiverSM recruiting, hiring and training.

Primary Responsibilities :

·         Reflect the core values of Houston Senior Services, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise).

·         Develop and manage the annual franchise Human Resources operational plan

·         Provide leadership and management of the HR Department; focusing on operational efficiency and performance related to CAREGiver recruitment and engagement.

·         Manage outcomes of HR department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals.

·         Complete a regularly scheduled audit of HR processes to ensure compliance with all governing bodies; including Home Instead Senior Care® Standards and any state specific requirements.

·         Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, Director, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members.

·         Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to all employees.

Secondary Responsibilities :

·         Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations as needed following the consultative sales proces

·         Maintain and establish strong relationships with the Home Instead, Inc. Business Performance team

Education/Experience Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·         This position will be responsible for overseeing all of the functions of Human Resources. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, coaching employee’s performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*Job is a communication center based Monday through Friday, but does require candidate to be flexible even when office is closed. (Example: Call made to employee due to a last minute call off and needs guidance on a replacement CAREGiver to send that would be a good match for that client.)We are hoping to find a candidate who loves the type of work we do and really wants to help which is an attribute that is mandatory for every position

Objective :The Scheduler/Staffer & Dispatch Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients. The Scheduler/Staffer & Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and staff in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships. Expected to also take part in training as well as practice to become an inquiry specialist for over the phone, in home consultations as well as manage the communication center's scheduling & dispatch department.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and staffing activity in the communication center by utilizing the software system
  • Follow up, staff and manage with all client and CAREGiver issues to ensure their problems are resolved as lead scheduler / dispatcher in the communication center.
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and Caregiver records in the software system as the scheduler / dispatch manager.
  • Increase client loyalty to Home Instead Senior Care by utilizing the consultative sales & coaching process to better client needs and keep clients safe.
  • Follow up, communicate & manage Caregivers and client issues to ensure problems are resolved effectively.
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, enter the information into the software system and work with team to communicate and prepare for the Care Consultation and staff using effective software for scheduling, staffing & dispatching.
  • Conduct Schedule Service Inquiries and dispatch employees.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication as a scheduler / dispatch coordinator
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Learn and perfect phone and in home consultations providing insight to potential clients and their families on how we operate.
