Rachael started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2013. She has a degree in business management and most of her professional background is in office administration. She currently works as the Human Resource Assistant. Her primary roles include assisting with recruiting and hiring the best CAREGivers in the industry and helping to retain the current 320+ CAREGivers we have on staff. She is very involved in our local office’s non-profit organization, Be A Santa to a Senior, which helps provide Christmas gifts and visits to low-income seniors in the community. Rachael is proud to work for Home Instead Senior Care because of the difference we make in the lives of the aging community and their families.
Christine has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2013. Christine has worked in different roles with the company over the years which helps her to best understand the unique needs of our clients. She served as a Staffing Coordinator and Client Care Manager. Currently, she works as the Staffing Manager where she supervises our team Staffing Coordinators. Christine enjoys working with the senior population, their families and our CAREGivers to ensure quality service and care.
LeAnne joined Home Instead Senior Care as a Staffing Coordinator in September 2017. Prior to Home Instead, she worked as Director of Care for a home-care agency for three years. LeAnne is passionate about her work because she knows it has a direct impact on a client’s life. Improving a client’s well-being and happiness is LeAnne’s top priority.
Devenda has been a Staffing Coordinator at Home Instead Senior Care since 2014. When she started, she had over 12 years of experience in customer service working in a variety of settings. Her friendly, outgoing personality gives her a special connection with our clients and CAREGivers. She is married and enjoys spending time with her three beautiful children.
Maruja started as a staffing coordinator with Home Instead Senior Care in November 2017. She recently ended her tour as a Builder in the United States Navy. During her military career, Maruja worked with several people of different walks of life, including deploying to Okinawa Japan. She take organization and professionalism very seriously, and strives to always giver her all in a task.
Janine joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2013 as a Community Service Representative and then moved into the Staffing Supervisor position. Currently, Janine works as a Client Care Manager where she helps build relationships with families, clients and CAREGivers. Janine considers it a privilege and honor to work with families, clients, CAREGivers and the local professional community to help seniors remain healthy, happy and independent.
Janine and her children now call Northeast Ohio home after moving from Chicago to help care for elderly in-laws. Janine will soon be an empty-nester though with both children off at college. Her son is a junior attending Miami University – Farmer School of Business in Oxford, Ohio. Her daughter, will be attending the Ohio State University this fall and intends to pursue a career in law.
Eileen has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2005. She has over 25 years of experience in the health care industry. Eileen’s experience includes eight years with University Hospitals as Coordinator of House Staff Affairs, including recruiting internal medicine residents, and five years with the Cleveland Clinic Health System as Professional Recruiter for Allied and Support Professionals. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner, her expertise ensures our CAREGivers are providing quality care to our seniors that not only enriches their lives but provides peace of mind to their families too.
Ashley has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2016. With a passion for ensuring that seniors safely maintain independence in their home environment, Ashley attended practical nursing school knowing that her desire was to serve in the home care community. She has been a nurse since 2014 with experience in skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, special-needs pediatrics, and home health care. As a Client Care Manager with Home Instead Senior Care, Ashley is able to fulfill her passion to assist seniors at home. Ashley, her husband, and two children lived in various parts of the world while her husband served in the U.S. Army. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, cooking, and participating in her church choir.
Nicole graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Long-Term Healthcare Administration and a certificate in Gerontology. She knew at a young age she wanted to work with the aging population and began working at a skilled nursing facility in Admissions and Human Resources. Her experience and passion to help others has prepared her for the role she began in 2016, as a Home Care Consultant. Nicole enjoys painting and being outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
Liz Kentner received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with an emphasis in long-term care from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She has over 13 years of experience in the healthcare field and has always been driven to help positively impact our aging population. She has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2016. When outside of work, Liz's pride and joy is her family. Liz and her husband have two children, with another due in 2018, and enjoy spending time outdoors. Some of Liz's hobbies include baking/cooking for others, photography, and a passion for fitness & living a healthy lifestyle.
Melissa has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University. She started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2011 as the Bookkeeper. She previously worked as a Systems Analyst at Columbia Gas for 7 years and has over 10 years of experience as the bookkeeper for a small Columbus Insurance Agency. She enjoys coming to work because of all the wonderful staff and clients she works with on a daily basis.
Denise has been employed at Home Instead Senior Care since 2013. She was previously employed at the Cleveland Clinic as a Referral Specialist and a Financial Councilor for 12 years. She has worked in the medical office field for 20 years. She graduated from Cleveland Institute of Medical Assisting and graduated in 2016 from The International Theological World Center (ISOM), with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Her current job duties include supervision of the administrative team who are responsible for answering all incoming calls with excellent customer service as their goal. They assist with payroll, time keeping, collections and office inventory. Denise says working for Home Instead Senior Care is one of the most rewarding experiences in her life! Home Instead Senior Care helps seniors to stay in their homes, and this allows them to live a quality life, while the staff stands by the Mission Statement to honor God in all we do.
Kimberley has a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Wilberforce University. She started with Home Instead Senior Care in November 2017 with over 20 years of experience in finance and commercial leasing. Kimberley is excited about this new opportunity to expand her experience in the areas of senior home care.
Brenda has worked at Home Instead Senior Care since 2014 as the Receptionist. She is a graduate of West Virginia University where she received her degree in Social Work. Before coming to work Home Instead Senior Care, she worked with the Lorain County Office on Aging. Retiring from social work and coming to Home Instead Senior Care has been a wonderful transition for her because she loves that she can still interact with the senior population!
Maria Stewart graduated from Cleveland City Schools with high honors, thereafter pursuing a career with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation from 1988-2002. Furthering her passion for helping seniors she joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2002. Maria has close to 30 years of experience in the healthcare field. Maria loves the satisfaction in knowing that she is making a positive difference in the lives of seniors and their loved ones. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son-in-law. As a family, they often engage in volunteer work helping individuals learn more about their Bibles.
Pam started working with Home Instead Senior Care in 2010. Pam has over 15 years in the health care industry, with experience in coordinating care and staffing in local hospitals, nursing homes and home care. Pam is currently the Client Care Manager in the Brecksville Office. Her primary role is to ensure our CAREGivers are providing quality care to our seniors. Pam is also a licensed Realtor and has had experience in selling real estate since 2002. The greatest pleasure in working for Home Instead Senior Care is meeting with families and coordinating and customizing the best personal care possible for their loved ones.
Marsha DeAngelis joined the Home Instead team in 2014 as a part-time Staffing Coordinator. Marhsa organizes all of the scheduling at our Brecksville office. Marsha ensures that our clients have the best possible CAREGiver matches and that all their care needs are met. Her prior work experience includes ER/hospital admissions, medical billing and coding, and administrative duties. Marsha also keeps very busy with her five children.
