Throughout her professional life, Margie Orth has been looking for ways to take care of people and to pay her blessings forward. Joining Home Instead Senior Care in 2018 as the Director of Operations has provided Margie the opportunity to truly live her mission of serving graciously our clients, caregivers and fellow staff. Before joining the team at Home Instead, she spent 30 years in the home safety industry, where she ran the day-to-day operations of a Cleveland-based security company. In her free time, she volunteered with various nonprofit organizations such as Cornerstone of Hope, which further encouraged and fueled her passion for helping others. Margie grew up in Brecksville-Broadview Heights and still calls the area home to this day. Margie attended the University of Toledo and is also a recent graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSMB program. Nothing is more important to Margie than her family and serving the greater Cleveland community. She believes quite simply: There is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honor your calling.
Maria Stewart graduated from Cleveland City Schools with high honors, thereafter pursuing a career with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation from 1988-2002. Furthering her passion for helping seniors she joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2002. Maria has close to 30 years of experience in the healthcare field. Maria loves the satisfaction in knowing that she is making a positive difference in the lives of seniors and their loved ones. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son-in-law. As a family, they often engage in volunteer work helping individuals learn more about their Bibles.
Rachael started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2013, as the Human Resource Assistant. She has a degree in business management and most of her professional background is in office administration. She currently works as the Operations Manager. Her primary roles include assisting the HR department, staffing department and executive team with a variety of operational roles. She is very involved in our local office’s non-profit organization, Be A Santa to a Senior, which helps provide Christmas gifts and visits to low-income seniors in the community. Rachael is proud to work for Home Instead Senior Care because of the difference we make in the lives of the aging community and their families.
Becky has been with our Home Instead Senior Care family since early 2019. She has been in direct patient care for 15 years which brings a great insight to how our company can grow. She knew from a young age that the medical industry was the right fit. As her career grew she knew that top quality care was vital to the health and safety of patients. As a Quality Control Manager, she is a key part of insuring we provide the best care for our clients. In her spare time, Becky enjoys photography, making people laugh, and being with her family and friends.
Devenda has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2014. When she started, she had over 12 years of experience in customer service working in a variety of settings. Her friendly, outgoing personality gives her a special connection with our clients and CAREGivers. She is married and enjoys spending time with her three beautiful children.
Shelbi started at Home Instead Senior Care as an intern in 2017 through her vocational program at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center. She was then hired as an employee and graduated from Twinsburg High School in 2018 with honors and a certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant. She is currently working as the HR Admin while also attending Cuyahoga Community College for her major in Radiography. What she enjoys most about her job is the people she works with and helping make a change in senior’s lives.
Janae joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2017 as a caregiver, she followed the career path and currently works in the office as a Staffing Coordinator. With her she brings a wealth experience in both caregiving and customer service. Janae is outgoing and friendly which allows her to build relationships with both clients and caregivers. Outside of work Janae enjoys spending time with her spouse and three little ones.
Shirley has been working with Home Instead Senior Care since June of 2019 as a Staffing Coordinator. She has worked 40 years in the healthcare field, along with more than 29 years in the staffing department. She has an Associate Degree in Allied Health- Substance Abuse Counseling. Shirley truly enjoys working with seniors and care givers. It brings her joy to make a difference in the lives of others. Shirley is very affectionate, loving and gives great hugs. She enjoys time with her family, traveling and baking. Shirley is passionate about treating others like she wants to be treated.
Nicole graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Long-Term Healthcare Administration and a certificate in Gerontology. She knew at a young age she wanted to work with the aging population and began working at a skilled nursing facility in Admissions and Human Resources. Her experience and passion to help others has prepared her for the role she began in 2016, as a Home Care Consultant. Nicole enjoys painting and being outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
Liz Kentner received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with an emphasis in long-term care from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She has over 13 years of experience in the healthcare field and has always been driven to help positively impact our aging population. She has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2016. When outside of work, Liz's pride and joy is her family. Liz and her husband have three children, and enjoy spending time outdoors. Some of Liz's hobbies include baking/cooking for others, photography, and a passion for fitness & living a healthy lifestyle.
Melissa has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University. She started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2011 as the Bookkeeper. She previously worked as a Systems Analyst at Columbia Gas for 7 years and has over 10 years of experience as the bookkeeper for a small Columbus Insurance Agency. She enjoys coming to work because of all the wonderful staff and clients she works with on a daily basis.
Kimberley has a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Wilberforce University. She started with Home Instead Senior Care in November 2017 with over 20 years of experience in finance and commercial leasing. Kimberley is excited about this new opportunity to expand her experience in the areas of senior home care.
Terre has been working in the office with Home Instead Senior Care since August of 2019. Terre’s huge heart and past success in building relationships in our communities has led her to Home Instead Senior Care. Terre holds degrees in American Sign Language and Office Administrations but is most proud of her achievements in being an amazing mom! She has previously worked for Geauga County Educational Service Center with children who are Deaf and have Orthopedic impairments. Most recently, Terre provided childcare out her home to multiple families and is kept very busy with her own 3 boys.
Pam started working with Home Instead Senior Care in 2010. Pam has over 15 years in the health care industry, with experience in coordinating care and staffing in local hospitals, nursing homes and home care. Pam is currently the Client Care Manager in the Brecksville Office. Her primary role is to ensure our CAREGivers are providing quality care to our seniors. Pam is also a licensed Realtor and has had experience in selling real estate since 2002. The greatest pleasure in working for Home Instead Senior Care is meeting with families and coordinating and customizing the best personal care possible for their loved ones.
Marsha DeAngelis joined the Home Instead team in 2014 as a part-time Staffing Coordinator. Marhsa organizes all of the scheduling at our Brecksville office. Marsha ensures that our clients have the best possible CAREGiver matches and that all their care needs are met. Her prior work experience includes ER/hospital admissions, medical billing and coding, and administrative duties. Marsha also keeps very busy with her five children.
