Butch final

Butch Merideth, Owner

Butch Merideth established the Windward and Central Oahu office of Home Instead in March of 2015.

With a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and public relations and a Master of Science degree in Health Care Management, Butch has worked in the healthcare industry for the past twenty-three years, most recently at Kaiser Permanente Hawai'i Region. The desire to fulfill a passion for service to others led him to Home Instead.

“I was looking for a way to utilize my education and professional background to become a community leader through service and assistance to others,” Butch said. “My goal is to be a trusted and reliable resource for in-home senior care and an avid advocate for changing the face of aging on our island. I also look forward to providing meaningful jobs to caring people in our community.”

“I can think of no greater honor than to be able to assist seniors as they age in place and help them maintain the honor and dignity they have earned,” Butch said. “Seniors, and those who love them, can look forward to the future knowing that they will have a trusted partner in Home Instead.”

Alex Peters

Alex Peters

Alex joined the Team as the Service Coordinator and Scheduler and quickly rose to be the Service Administrator. With a passion for helping others and making sure things get done he is a natural fit for our Home Instead family.

Alex's attention to detail and skill at organization & logistics have served him well as a QA Tester and later a Project Manager in the Tech Industry, as an Office Administrator for a church, and as a Sales Associate at a gaming and LAN café. He loves making sure there are no impediments for the people around him so they can achieve their goals.

"I was looking for a place where I could use my skills to let the people I work with accomplish everything they wanted. When I found Home Instead, I found a place where I could do that, and make a great impact in the lives of seniors at the same time.

She currently resides in Kailua with her husband who is in the Army. Some of her hobbies are home renovation, kayaking, paddle boarding and just enjoying everything living in Hawaii offers. Nancy has spent her adulthood serving others as the spouse of a Soldier and that drew her to Home Instead where she can continue to serve the seniors of Oahu.

Throughout college, Cameron worked as the Human Resources Student Worker with the University Information Technology Services. His post-graduation goal was to move back home to O'ahu, Hawaii to work, and to further grow the human resources and organizational development skills and experience that he had developed. Cameron was drawn to Home Instead because he saw an opportunity to not only enhance his professional development, but also help change the face of aging on Oahu. He credits all of his success to his kupuna who nurtured and taught him to strive for excellence and believes that aging seniors deserve the best support available.
