Roy Wu, Co-Owner

Roy Wu, Co-Owner

Roy was born in Maryland and grew up in the Washington, DC area. He received his undergraduate degree in Communications and his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration. Roy’s career includes working in various sectors – Philanthropy, Education, and Health Care – all he feels has prepared him for owning and running a Home Instead franchise. Roy and Paula enjoy spending time with their kids and are active in their church. His all-time favorite movie is Rudy.
Paula Wu,  Co-Owner

Paula Wu, Co-Owner

​Paula attended undergraduate school in a city they now service through their Home Instead office—Walla Walla, Washington. She moved to Loma Linda, California, finished her Master of Physical Therapy degree and began her career as a Physical Therapist in the acute rehabilitation unit of the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana, California. While she didn't know it at the time, Paula was gaining invaluable insights into the need for the continuation of quality care once her patients returned to their homes. This outside perspective of the very real and personal inner needs of those seeking the kind of care Home Instead provides is just one of the ways in which Paula brings a superior level of homecare to seniors.

Nickie, Operations Manager

Nickie started with Home Instead in October of 2018 as an HR Assistant. She helps manage the hiring process for new CAREGiver applicants, including background and reference checks, interviews, and training. She also enjoys helping to select well-rounded, high quality CAREGivers for our clients. Outside of work Nickie enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, gardening, and tending her chickens.​
Chelsea,  Service Coordinator and Weekend On-Call

Chelsea, Service Coordinator and Weekend On-Call

Chelsea started with Home Instead in February of 2020 as a Service Coordinator and Weekend On-Call. She works to maintain the schedule and make sure that clients and caregivers needs are being met. When she is not working in scheduling she can be found helping at the front desk. Chelsea loves problem solving and being a listening ear to anyone who needs someone to listen. She believes that everyone has a story to tell. Outside of the office, she spends her time crafting and spending time with her husband and extended family.
Suzi Thomas

Suzi Thomas, Client Care Coordinator

Suzi’s motto is: “Always do the right thing!” She has been caregiving for local seniors and Veterans for over five years. Suzi has a passion for working with dementia and hospice patients. In her spare time Suzi enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, traveling for competitive cheer competitions, and crafting on her Cricut.

Lisa Seger Lead CG COMP

Lisa, Lead CAREGiver

Lisa demonstrates to heart of a caregiver in love and service to others! She started as a Home Instead CAREGiver in September 2019 and transitioned to the Lead CAREGiver role in May 2021. In addition to caring for clients, Lisa teaches hands-on skills and performs in-person introductions for CAREGivers to their clients. Prior to joining Home Instead, Lisa taught preschool and served as lead for caring for the room of infants. She was also a nanny for 12 years. Outside of work, Lisa’s passion time is devoted to her family, especially doing activities with her grandchildren. She also cares for a menagerie of pets.
Paula, Billing & Payroll Specialist

Paula, Billing & Payroll Specialist

​Paula began working for Home Instead in January of 2018. As our Billing and Payroll Specialist she helps with client invoicing, invoicing with the Veterans Administration and long-term care insurance, and CAREGiver payroll. She has worked with various aspects of billing for much of her adult life. Paula enjoys helping others and has three grown children, as well as three grandchildren.
