Franklin July 2021 Client & CAREGiver Spotlight - Joyce N. & Gloria E.
Meet Joyce and her Professional CAREGiver, Gloria, Franklin’s Client and Professional CAREGiver Spotlight team for July! Joyce worked 17 years in food service at a college. Her husband was in the military, so they have lived in several different places, including Germany and Texas. Joyce says she liked El Paso, TX the best out of all her travels because of the food. Once they retired though, they wanted to come back home to TN.
Gloria has been helping Joyce for about a year. She comes to help with meals, baths, and grocery store runs. Gloria says she likes to stay busy in the house and feels as if it is her second home. They love to do puzzles or dominoes together when they are not doing chores. She says Joyce’s favorite pastime, however, is coloring. Joyce says, “Gloria is very helpful, and I depend on her for everything”. Joyce said she missed Gloria terribly when she went to visit her home in Colombia, South America. Gloria’s supervisor says, “These two are two peas in a pod, they are always doing fun and exciting new things together.”. We are so happy Joyce and Gloria found each other through our great organization and they exemplify what it means to “Share Our Hearts”!
