Franklin June 2021 Professional CAREGiver of the Month - Denise G.
Meet Denise G., the June Professional CAREGiver of the Month for Franklin! Denise spent seven years at a factory on night shift and realized it was time for a change when her grandpa fell and broke his hip. She wanted to be able to help her grandpa and help other seniors and feel like she was making a difference. Her daughter works at Hospice, so caregiving runs in the family.
Denise’s supervisor says, “Denise is the type of person that makes a connection right away and shows her client how loyal she is by providing the best care and winning over their hearts”. Denise has been caring for the same couple since her first day with Home Instead. She has become family to them and stood by their sides through the diagnosis of COVID and then later down the line she stood by the wife after the loss of her husband. Never once through those difficult times did she stop sharing her heart with this family.
When Denise is not providing excellent care to her clients, you may find her camping, hiking, or sitting by a bonfire. She gets her comfort from the outdoors. She does not like shopping but does love to partake in some Mexican or Italian foods. We are proud of Denise and the connections she makes with her clients. We hope she continues to make a difference with us for many years to come!
