Franklin July 2021 Professional CAREGiver of the Month - Carol O.
Meet Carol O., the July Professional CAREGiver of the Month for Franklin! Carol has always been a caregiver in some capacity. She began her career in nursing homes and home health. Now she is a Special Education Bus Attendant for Williamson County Schools and still finds time to care for her Home Instead Clients on the weekends. She has one client now and that client’s daughter says, “Carol is very trustworthy, and I know mother is receiving the care that she needs. She consistently treats mother like she is a family member. I have peace of mind knowing that Carol can handle any situation”.
When Carol is not providing excellent care to others, you may find her singing karaoke while her husband plays pool, or going to KY Downs in Franklin, KY. She has lived on the same piece of land for the past 46 years, having built her house in the backyard of the house where she grew up. She says, “Caregiving is my passion”. That is evident in her work as her supervisor says, “Carol always goes above and beyond for her clients, giving them the comfort of knowing she will be there for them”. We are certainly happy Carol has chosen a career with Home Instead and hope she continues to give the best care for many years to come!
