Home Instead® is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. To us it's personal! Our CAREGivers get the opportunity to work one-on-one with their clients and actually get the time to know them. Our world-class Caregiver training focuses on the aging process, keeping clients and CAREGivers safe, but also how to build healthy relationships with clients. We offer additional classes/training on Personal Care, Alzheimer's, Parkinson, Diabetes, COPD, Strokes, Hospice Care, etc. We are here to support CAREGivers!

We have a variety of 4-12 hours shifts available from Part-time to Full-time throughout the Wilson, Smith and DeKalb County Area. Please contact Rhiana Pantello our recruiter directly if you are interested in making a difference at 615-444-3553.

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Successfully complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Previous related experience preferred but not necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead
  • Complete our world-class CAREGiver training program
  • Reporting hours according to office policy
  • Regularly communicating with supervisor and office staff
  • Intermediate knowledge on technology (i.e. clocking in/out)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be minimum of 19 years of age
  • Holds the minimum education, experience and skills to perform responsibilities
  • Complete a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
