Our July 2022 Brian Geenty Caring Star is... Cheryl Sims!
This month's Caring Star Winner goes to Cheryl Sims! Cheryl is celebrating a recent anniversary with Home Instead along with her recognition for this award. As the owner, I want to recognize Cheryl for the incredible things that she does for her clients every day. I also want to recognize her for what she does not do! Cheryl defines the role of a true care professional. She has raised a wonderful and successful family with the dedication and passion that she shares every day!
While Cheryl would never brag, she has raised a successful family of medical providers including doctors and passionate health care professionals. Yes, she should be proud! For me, it's her culture, dedication and caring heart that makes her so special. Cheryl lives in an apartment in Ellicott City, very close to Baltimore. Every day she drives to both clients in Frederick and Braddock Heights! Cheryl cares for some of our most challenging clients and while she receives little recognition from the families, she has played a pivotal role in their care, respect and dignity. Cheryl says "NO" to drama, and focuses with a caring heart on what truly makes a difference!
In tough times, she has raised the bar by simply being there and going back every day. All with a loving heart, a kind smile and a passion to care! Congratulations, Cheryl, for being YOU and making such a difference in the lives of our clients!
