Brad Snively, Owner

Brad Snively, Owner

As owner of Home Instead, Brad's roots go back to the seventies, while providing care for his many family members in these Maryland counties. "You can either embrace caring for seniors or run away from it. I chose to care,” says Brad. After graduating from college in the mid-eighties and establishing a career as Director of a Fortune 100 Company, Brad experienced the ultimate calling when his Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor early in 1990. "There was no help for family members on a reliable basis, at that time, and to welcome a stranger into our home could have been catastrophic,” says Brad. After the passing of his father, Brad continued to remain committed to the promise of caring for his mother, while maintaining his job.

After much research, Brad and Chris (his wife) purchased Home Instead in 2010. Upon purchasing the business, he has made it his mission to ensure that the best quality of care is given to seniors within the community with no compromises. Brad explains, “We are 24/7 – 365 and are committed to providing the best training and care. You will never talk to an answering service, you will talk to our staff directly. We are all servants to our community, and we are passionate about providing the best care possible to maintain seniors in their homes! Our team changes the face of aging every day and will continue to positively impact our seniors whatever their needs might be for the next generation. I promise you!"

Christina Snively, Co-Owner

Chris provides support services to all aspects of the office. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania and graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Education and has a Master’s degree from McDaniel College, home of the The Center for the Study of Aging. She has worked for both the Frederick County and Carroll County School systems for 36 years and is currently a School Counselor and Adjunct Professor at McDaniel College. Chris and Brad have 3 young adult children. Chris’s parents, who still reside in Pennsylvania, are 91 and 84 and she knows the importance of high-quality in-home care! Chris works for Home Instead to provide support for families and the best quality of care for a loved one during the later years of their life.

Leigh Ann Wright, General Manager

Leigh Ann Wright, General Manager

Leigh Ann was born and raised in Pennsylvania and moved to Maryland in 2015 to be closer to her mom and sister. She graduated from Penn State University (WE ARE PENN STATE PROUD). Leigh Ann has brought a wealth of experience to the team as she began working at Home Instead in 2004 in Pennsylvania and filled almost every staff position while there, including General Manager. She works for Home Instead because she knows that every day we are helping to make a difference in senior’s lives and our CAREGivers lives. Outside of work, she is an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers (we forgive her for that!). She loves to travel with family and friends.​

Mary Towe, RN

Mary Towe, RN

Mary earned her BSN from University of Maryland and MBA from Frostburg State University. She has been a registered Nurse at Meritus (formerly Washington County Hospital) for 28 years. She entered as a new graduate, clinical RN in ICU, Trauma, Emergency Department, Post Anesthesia Care. During her career, she was Manager of the Trauma Unit and Nursing Operations Director. Mary retired after 14 years as Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President in 2011. She has worked in home care for two years. Mary is currently an Adjunct faculty member at Hagerstown Community College Nursing and volunteers as Court Appointed Special Advocates for Abused and Neglected Children. She is also the Vice Chair, Washington County Commissioners Committee on Funding. Mary formerly served as Vice Chair Local Management Board, Washington County, MD. Mary’s vast knowledge of care and her desire to serve seniors is a proven asset to our team!

Travis Brice, Director of First Impressions Administrative Assistant

Travis Brice, Director of First Impressions Administrative Assistant

Travis Brice comes to Home Instead with nearly 30 years of Executive Administrative experience! During her career in the banking industry her support spanned many roles assisting Bank Presidents, Regional Presidents, Market Presidents and Board of Directors. 

She has extensive experience in customer service, office coordination, administrative support and so much more!  Her current responsibilities with Home Instead include; Customer Service, Client Resolution, Teamwork Collaboration and Quality Assurance support.  She is an expert in planning, organizing and delivering results.

While Travis possesses a strong desire to deliver results and support all aspect of her role, her greatest strength is her passion to serve seniors and those that care for them!

Kimberly Kaszak, Recruiting and Retention Director

Kim Kaszak has over 22 years of Sales, Marketing and Operational Management experience! Kim spent much of her early career interacting with Fortune 500 companies in numerous supportive and consultative roles. She has been gifted with the ability to develop positive client and staff partnerships throughout her career.

Most recently Kim was the Branch Director for Favorite Health Care Staffing in Timonium. In this position she supervised all aspects of the hiring process to include; screening, interviewing, on-boarding and training activities. Her expertise in sales and marketing proved to be a perfect fit when engaging new talent in the healthcare industry. Through her position, Kim has established strong relationships to include hospitals, nursing homes, surgical centers and clinics. She has a proven track record of fulfilling staffing needs in even the most difficult of times.   

Kim is described as an “over achiever” with a laser focus on work ethic, developing strong business cultures and enhancing the lives of her team members every day!

Ralphy and Stanley, Barketing Interns

Meet Ralphy and Stanley--perhaps our most talented office support! No, not with typing and filing --their talents lie in providing love, emotional support and comic relief to our hard-working administrative staff and caregivers when they visit. They are also happy to greet all visitors to the office as well as provide protection from the dog statue that sits out front. Ralphy is determined to scare him away one of these days...

You will also find them out in the community visiting our precious seniors in facilities and communities --they consistently bring smiles and light to staff and residents alike. We are blessed to have these two fellows as part of the Home Instead team!
