Our February 2022 Brian Geenty Caring Star is... Lydia Peterson!
Lydia is an amazing CAREGiver. She regularly reviews any care assessments for her clients, follows the Care Plan to include all ADL/IADL tasks and marks tasks as completed.
She is aware of what Personal Care she can provide under her scope as a CAREGiver. She communicates changes and anything that is outside of or beyond our scope to both the office and the client representative. Lydia is also a creative cook and has created multiple crock pot meals for her clients to eat, so they have food, even after her shift is over. Lydia advocates for all aspects of her client’s care and really listens to the client from her heart!
During a recent PT assessment, Lydia was able to read that the client had had enough and that the client needed to sit. Lydia feels protective of her clients. In summary, Lydia is supportive, positive, kind, and uplifting - with just the right mix of humble energy. It is no wonder why a recent client has said
repeatedly, “I love Lydia.”
