Our Caring Star for the month of April is.... Rebecca (Becky) Biddinger!
Recently, the client spoke to our RN, Mary Towe about how appreciative she is of the care Becky provides, and this time she was especially effusive. The client has gained several pounds since her last physical assessment (which she needed). The client attributed her weight gain to Becky's great cooking and baking. Both the client and her husband enjoy it!
The client shared that she can tell when Becky enters the apartment, because there is laughing and light heartedness immediately! Becky is always smiling and lifts both hers and the client's husband's spirits the entire time she is there. She does jigsaw puzzles with them, which they both love. The client worries about her husband getting sufficient stimulation being with her all of the time, and feels so comfortable when Becky is there and does some doting on him too!
Becky walks with the client to the mailbox and occasionally takes them to lunch for the client's ambulation/exercise. The client has come to know the neighbors in her senior living community. She tells them all, "You can look, but she's mine."
Becky is dependable and will do anything within her boundaries to assist this wonderful couple! Becky is a great ambassador for Home Instead within this senior living community and wherever she serves her clients! Thank you Becky for making such a great impression and difference in the lives of seniors within the greater Frederick community!
