Care Professional- Overnight/ Weekends Specialized

Home Instead of Burlington is seeking caring and compassionate Care Professionals to become a part of our family and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults. Home Instead provides non-medical services, allowing clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. We provide care for clients living in Alamance and Randolph County.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Alzheimer’s Care
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Personal care assistance (grooming, toileting, dressing, etc)
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
  • Possess reliable transportation
  • Ability to use basic technology (Cell phone apps) to be able to provide reports through our electronic system
  • MUST PROVIDE A NEGATIVE TB TEST RESULT
*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead*
Competitive pay ranging from $12.00-$14.00/hourly, opportunities for getting bonuses
