REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, car, and proof of auto insurance. In addition, candidates will submit to a criminal background check and drug screen. Working with folks who have Dementia is a plus. So, we are looking for staff with experience!
The following is what we do for others!
1. You will be a companion! What does this mean? You get involved in watching movies and playing cards, running errands for and with them, plus much more!
2. Meal preparation. You may cook up something good in the kitchen! You and your client will love the smells of fresh bread or cookies baking! We support our clients with nutrition and hydration. These two factors are essential to living well in life.
3. Housekeeping support. Our staff helps clients keep their homes in order by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping surfaces. Seniors live a better life with a clean house!
4. Taking medication as prescribed is essential. You will be trained in various support roles to provide client meds correctly. This is to ensure clients take their meds as prescribed by their doctor. Our clients need help to stay on their med schedules, and this is where you will be trained to assist them.
5. Grooming and personal care assistance. Some folks need help at the beginning, and others need help at the end of the day. Regardless, we help our clients with standby assistance. Assistance can include bathing, brushing teeth, hair care, or other care to support them in looking and feeling their best!
