Rachel Beilke, Service Coordinator
Rachel has spent most of her life hanging out with seniors. She loves helping them and listening to their stories. From a young age, she used to hang out with her grandparents and their friends. Rachel spent many weekends having "slumber parties" at grandpa and grandma's house. Her favorite memory was going fishing with them and grandma would make them tuna fish sandwiches while they fished. While Rachel was working at the nursing home, her grandma got ill and spent her final months living there. Rachel got to spend every day helping and caring for her until her grandpa joined them. One of Rachel's most profound memories was seeing her grandparents sleeping next to each other until the last night. They passed away a month apart.
Rachel has worked in the health care field for 26+ years. All that experience helped Rachel develop a passion for caring for the elderly and putting a smile on their faces every day. Rachel stated, "You get a great satisfaction from knowing you are making a difference in someone else's life". Seeking an opportunity to make a difference in her boys' life and wanting to make sure they had every opportunity available and she moved to Duluth in 2019.
As Service Coordinator, Rachel is responsible for making sure each CAREGiver is successful attending to each client's unique needs. To do this, Rachel gathers pertinent information to create individual care plans for each client by listening to their concerns and ensures their needs are met, even as situations change. She also coordinates orientations and ongoing trainings which help CAREGivers maintain care standards and achieve the highest level of quality.
In her downtime, she enjoys camping, fishing and doing "boy stuff" with her children. She enjoys traveling, antique shopping, walking her 2 dogs and watching sports especially the Green Bay Packers with her boyfriend. Rachel says, "Laughter is a big part of our household".
