Janet is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree from Methodist College of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska. Bob has a business background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Their commitment to the people they serve is evident through their community outreach and strong desire to obtain the highest quality CAREgivers and staff. They are active in their children’s schools, Communities, Chamber of Commerce, and participate in many Community Betterment projects every year. Bob also sits on a National Advocacy team that regularly speaks to our Legislators in D.C. regarding access to care for seniors in Iowa.
Their mission is to Professionally and Compassionately help people craft their own vision of aging. Through this mission they continue to positively impact the lives of hundreds of families in Central Iowa by giving them the ability to stay independent and safe in their own homes.

Amy Alden, General Manager
Amy's primary role is to ensure that Home Instead's clients are satisfied with the service being provided, and is a valuable link to the families of these clients. She believes that everyone should have an opportunity to enjoy the freedom of aging at home. Because of her extremely close relationship with her grandmother, she recognizes the value of adding to someone's quality of life and appreciates the way companionship nourishes the spirit.

Katie Sherlock, Staff Manager
Katie has a BS in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Iowa State University. She began her career in geriatrics in 2006 as the Service Coordinator here at Home Instead, inspired by the innovation that non-medical home care has contributed to the long term care community.
Passionate about helping older adults continue to thrive at home, Katie took an immediate interest in supporting and coaching our tremendous CAREGiver staff and was promoted to Staff Manager in 2010. Helping CAREGivers cultivate their skills which allow them to do their part in allowing people to age in place is a very rewarding part of this role for Katie. Her role enables her to recruit and hand select the best candidates available to help Home Instead clients reach their individual aging goals. Additionally, she provides them with ongoing education that give them the tools they need to be successful.
If you’re considering a career helping people craft their own version of aging, schedule time to meet with Katie! She enjoys helping others understand the value of home care, and how a career in this industry can create so many meaningful relationships and rewarding experiences. She believes that when the perfect client/CAREGiver match is made, not only does the client get to enjoy aging at home, the CAREGiver gets to enjoy the satisfaction that comes from sharing your heart with others. It is truly a win-win!

Tiffany Bradley, Staff Coordinator
Tiffany's primary role is to manage the weekly schedules of Home Instead's clients and CAREGivers. She also acts as a valuable communicator with the families we serve. Tiffany enjoys knowing that people are safe and happy in their own homes, and she likes knowing that her job plays a small role in ensuring that safety and independence occurs every day.

Kacie Purl, Home Care Consultant
I came to Home Instead after working in Long Term Care for 8 years. After graduating from Iowa State University with my degree in Psychology and Sociology, I began my career as a Social Worker in dementia care at the Madrid Home. I obtained my Nursing Home Administrator's license in 2011 and worked as the Assistant Administrator and Director of Social Services for the Madrid Home until 2015. Most recently, I worked as the Nursing Home Administrator for Bethany Life. I am thrilled to be joining the Home Instead team and learn another facet of service delivery. I am passionate about finding care solutions in the ever-changing landscape of healthcare.
I am a central Iowa native and live in Ames with my husband Tom, and two kids Tommy and Teagan. In my free time I enjoy cooking, running, yoga, reading, being outdoors, Iowa State Athletics, and Chicago Cubs baseball.
