This office of Home Instead has been fantastic. The caretakers we've worked with have all been incredibly caring people who have had a true interest in helping and engaging with our parents, each with their own special strengths. The vast majority were a really good fit with our folks, and in the rare instances where it wasn't, the back office staff has been super in making any needed adjustments.
The folks in the back office have also been incredibly flexible in meeting our needs, and always friendly and easy to work with.
I highly recommend this Home Instead office!

Home Instead was recommended to me by my sister-in-law because this service was taking care of her mother in North Carolina. I wasn't sure what to expect, and my dad being fiercely independent was hesitant at first. But, once we found the right care takers, we were all in love! I especially loved being able to check up on my dad's progress in the family portal. It was also very easy to communicate with the staff through the portal. We also had easy access to contact staff through our representative. All of the staff were very eager to assist my father in any way possible. I HIGHLY recommend Home Instead. And as my friends parents start to need services, Home Instead will be on the top of my list in recommendations.

This office is the best I've ever worked with. Our care coordinator, Kelli, is always on top of any changes to schedules or additional needs we have. We have excellent caregivers (who are perfect for my mother) and I have always felt comfortable having them taking care of my mom. Great job all around!
Caregivers have been compassionate, patient, and quick to learn my parents' needs and preferences. Scheduling staff are kind and understand the need for any revisions to our regularly scheduled helpers as they occur. They support the whole family in the aging process with its changing needs. Definitely recommend them for your family.

Home Instead has been a blessing for my 91 year old mom and her family. Mom is independent and wants to stay in her home as long as she can. Home Instead has allowed her to do just that. Not only is she getting the support with care needs, but she and the care givers have developed relationships that make her life richer.

When dad died, Mom insisted on staying at home— and I moved in with her to make that possible. Home Instead has been a godsend for me! I can get away from the house without worrying about Mom. While I am out, I can truly relax because caregivers are well vetted and trained. They have been incredibly kind and very creative in handling Mom’s dementia. When I return home, she is content and comfortable— and it is a delight to find light housekeeping tasks have been done. Home Instead staff are there to manage changes in Mom’s health and our caregiving needs, and I’ve even been able to go on little vacations out of town. Caring for Mom has not been easy, and I am grateful for the companionship offered by Home Instead staff and caregivers.

This agency has hired home care givers to come to our house to provide companionship for my loved one and to keep her safe. The staff persons I have met so far are very professional, they arrive on time, and they are truly caring people. They understand how hard this is for me to turn over my loved one to a stranger. They have been able to meet my scheduling needs and have accommodated changes easily. I have been very impressed with this organization overall.
Home Instead provided wonderful care for my mom during the last few months of her life. Our care coordinator, Emily, was always accessible and open to concerns and schedule changes so that the best possible plan could be set up. Finding a team of caregivers to meet the needs of our family was challenging, and it was a comfort to know the same people would be working with my mom. No shifts were ever cancelled, and our caregivers, if needed, covered each other's shifts so that my mom never saw an unfamiliar face. The team was also very kind and patient with the other family members constantly involved with my mom's care. I don't know if the average person understands the level of care, concern, and compassion it takes to care for an elderly person. Your team will always be our family's "super heroes".
I appreciate the willingness to work my schedule around the needs I have in my life. I don't feel it's an imposition when discussing these things with office staff. I always appreciate their cheerfulness even when things have been difficult to work out. It's not just nice to work with caring people. I need to feel caring hearts in order to put my heart into the work. I believe I have that with Home Instead.
I am so grateful that my family located and hired Home Instead. We started with HI last fall and continued to increase services as she now requires 24/7 care. I am so impressed with all the caretakers I have met and spoken to personally. They seem to take a personal interest in our mom, while also remaining professional. They are patient and helpful.
