"I found my second home and career, after leaving my first home and career, when I was led to join the Home Instead team. From day one, I was greeted with kindness, compassion, and enthusiasm from the team at Home Instead. Mike; the owner was there to greet the new team members, and welcome us to the team. He wanted to know each of us personally, and what our expectations were for the job, so he could meet each of our needs and expectations. Mike knows and greets everyone of his employees by name, and is dedicated to the success of each one of us. My first month, I was given recognition several times with a card signed by the office team. Mike signs every card with a personal note. I always felt valued, and part of a family. Every time I visited the office before, after, or between shifts, I was greeted with such cheerfulness and genuine care; it was like I was returning home from a long absence.. There were two occasions when Mike made sure the team reached out to me to make sure I had what I needed. The first time, I blacked out or something happened to cause me to lose consciousness and roll my car only way to work one Sunday morning. I had everyone worried, because I couldn't get the hospital staff to let me call work. I was released from the hospital that night, because I didn't want to stay. The next day Mike sent someone from the office over with food. Then he sent a card with a gift card for more food. And then, just for morale, he had Joan take me shopping. While I waited to secure a rental, Mike made sure I had use of one of the Home Instead cars. Everyone was there to support me and do whatever was needed. The second time just a month ago, my car was stolen, and Mike was ready to help me out again. "Tell me how we can help; what can we do for you." Again, I was given a Home Instead car. Support from Mike, navigating the system to help me get a new license. All my things were taken, when my car was stolen. Mike saw that I was overwhelmed and stepped in to help. I feel like I am seeing my best friends everyday that I go to work; clients as well as the whole team who support me. Actually, there was one more time, Mike and the team were there for me. I had fallen and broken my ankle. Mike supported me with clients who knew me and were willing to have me still provide care, so I wasn't out of work. He again supported me with a gift card for groceries, and always said tell us what you need. I am truly loved and part of an extended family."

"The hiring process was professional and expeditious. Phone calls to the office are answered promptly by a helpful administrative staff member. Employees are appreciated and frequently told that they are. Schedules for full time and for part time are distributed two weeks in advance.
