The caregiver was kind and respectful recognizing that Mom needed help but but wouldn't admit it. She gently worked with her to gain her trust. Kennedy has been my Home Health Aide for about a month now, and she has been an incredible help to me. Not only does she look after my needs, she takes it upon herself to do laundry, vacuum, clean sheets on beds, serving me meals, etc., etc. And even if I drop something, she is “Johnny on the spot” to pick it up, as I cannot bend over, recovering from 2 abdominal surgeries. She even sits with me, when my Physical Therapist is here (or, as I call them, “Physical Torturists”, LOL), who equally as much likes and respects Kennedy. And she does this all with her lovely smile, and sweet and kind good heartedness.
Kennedy is a huge asset to Home Instead, and I hope this letter serves to suggest that she deserves a bonus, or especially a raise in salary. I learned that McDonald workers make as much as she, or even more! Something is very wrong with that!

I want to share my appreciation for Home Instead in Orange, and especially for Richard, our caregiver who has been with us for 4 years. Richard is gifted with the skill to recognize the challenges of age and dementia and attends to my father with care. Richard has become part of our family and I speak on behalf of all of us in appreciation of him! The staff at Home Instead has been responsive and helpful, and we are grateful for the care given to my family from the whole staff and especially Richard.
Home Instead in Orange has been a godsend for me after my mom’s fall, our primary caregiver Nayelli has been caring for my mom for the past two years and is an amazing caregiver, she takes wonderful care of my mom and is gentle, respectful, empathic, reliable and is very professional with how treats my mom. She has really gone the extra mile to help me and my mom through this challenging time.
I am very pleased with the help l receive from Home Instead in Orange, California! My Caregiver is Alondra and she is very caring, energetic, patient, and attentive. She makes my independent living in my home so much easier.
Alondra helps me with my laundry, light cleaning, changing linen, meal preparation, etc. She also chops and cuts up fresh vegetables for my weekend soups because l cannot use sharp knives. I was so impressed by how CLEAN she is especially when preparing my food. She washes her hand AND wear gloves several times! That's especially important for Seniors health! When she takes me for walks l walk longer because she is with me. We sit outside in the patio and l enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. l never feel rushed. When she prepares my meal and leave l feel as if l have been "cared for"! Alondra is an amazing Caregiver!

I’ve been using Home Instead to provide part time care for my mother who lives with us. They’ve been a great resource for us; very dependable and communicative. I’ve had literally no reason to complain and I’m confident your experience will be positive as well.
Very satisfied with the care provided for my mother over many years. The caregivers are friendly, helpful & very patient in their willingness to help in any way. The office staff is also very understanding in the changes in care schedules and always easy to contact with questions or request for additional services as the need arises.

Home Instead was literally a life saver during the last 3 weeks of my mother's life. She needed 24hr care and it was too much for my father and I. He hired Home Instead for 8-5 the first week, then as things declined, 24hr care which was 2 caregivers a day doing 12hr shifts. Jodi was the care giver we had the most and she was just an angel. Each person was wonderful in their own way, but Jodi connected with my mom so quickly she was able to almost anticipate what she needed without much asking. They took care of my mom, helped keep the house clean, and mom's laundry done.

David and his caring staff took exceptional care of my mother, and then my father, in the final year of their lives. It was my parents' strong desire to remain in their home of 49 years until their final day, and we could not have managed this to occur without the amazing and dedicated care from the Home Instead team.
Care began with help just a few days a week, gradually escalating to every day and lastly 24/7 care. We benefitted greatly that my father had the foresight to purchase Long Term Care insurance 20 years ago which included a 5% annual inflation rider. His two policies largely covered their increasing care.
On more than one occasion and late at night, David made a personal visit to my parents' home to scoop my fallen mother off of the floor in the days before we had overnight care. His dedication, and that of the caregivers, gave us an invaluable peace-of-mind when we couldn't be there with my parents.
I will always be grateful to Home Instead for the blessing they provided our family and I cannot recommend them any more highly.
I can not say enough good things about Home Instead. My father is 83 and he fell backwards down his steps. I live in Washington and he lives in Anaheim. Because my father had not broken is hip the hospital was releasing him home with no care, they were going to send him home in an ambulance. I had no one to pick him up or stay with him. I made one call to Home Instead and they found a care giver to pick him up and Care for him for the next week 24 hours. My dad now needs 24 hour care and I would not choose anyone else.
