Our scheduling manager plays a major role in whether CAREGivers will see us as their employer of choice. Ideal Candidate:

-- Experienced: Management experience. At least 5 years work history in scheduling, staffing, or human resources management including the following:
  • Scheduling and Resource Allocation
  • Training and Development
  • Employee Relations
  • Healthcare Management with Direct Care Staff
-- Educated: College graduate. Degree(s) and/or Certification(s) related to logistics, people leadership, or HR 
-- High Character: leader mindset, accountability, integrity, honesty, resilience, authenticity
-- Puzzle Brain: logical, systematic, even-tempered. Regularly does sudoku or similar puzzles for fun. 
-- Competent: sensible, productive, time manager, investigative, alert to risks and gaps
-- People Focused: outgoing, confident, warm, a listener, intuitive, discreet, communicative, self-possessed, a relationship builder.
-- Heart for Seniors: Professional and/or personal experience in the world of seniors and caregiving.

Job Description:

-- Lead, train, and support scheduling team including scheduling coordinators and on-call supervisors.  
-- Models effective scheduling practices including relationship building, resource utilization, performance metric management (ie., CAREGiver overtime).  
-- Report regularly to the general manager on successes and challenges.
-- Recommend strategies, programs, and practices as our in-house scheduling expert and team leader.  
-- Ensure proper scheduling coverage 24/7. Back up the team as needed. 
-- Prepare weekly numbers and provide data to support monthly bonuses of the staffing team.
-- Hold self and team accountable for proper documentation of all scheduling activities.

Wages and Schedule:
-- $23 to $27 per hour depending on experience.
-- Full-time schedule. 5 days per week including some weekend days.
