Todd Barth, Franchise Owner

Todd Barth, Franchise Owner

Todd has a degree in organizational communication from Montana State University, a M.B.A. with an emphasis in management from George Fox University, and senior leadership training from Case Western Reserve. While at Montana State, he worked as an adjunct college professor. He has senior management experience with companies such as Black & Decker Corporation, Sherwin-Williams Corporation, and Valmont Industries. Todd has served on various community boards and has lead care groups with his church. Todd is a Certified Senior Advisor.
Kristi Barth, Co-Franchise Owner

Kristi Barth, Co-Franchise Owner

Kristi has a B.A. in elementary education and special education from Montana State University. She has a M.A. in early childhood development and has many years work experience in teaching, and developing curriculum. Kristi is a Certified Senior Advisor. She runs a non-profit, Teens Finding Hope, for teens suffering with depression.
Jeremiah, BBHR, CMS, Chief Compliance Officer & Controller

Jeremiah, BBHR, CMS, Chief Compliance Officer & Controller

Jeremiah works for both Home Instead Hillsboro & Home Instead Beaverton. Jeremiah has a background in retail and restaurant management and was a CNA in 2011.

He came to work for Home Instead in September 2016. He has served as a Field Manager, Operations Team, Director of Operations, Senior Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations. Jeremiah is now the Chief Compliance Officer & Controller for Hillsboro, Beaverton, and McMinnville locations. Jeremiah loves to golf and play cribbage. He is excited to be serving seniors in the community.

Kelly, General Manager

Kelly, General Manager

Kelly is a native Oregonian. She has worked for Home Instead for 9 years, two years as a client care manager, and the last 7 years as a general manager. Kelly loves what she does and understands the importance of being able to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Kelly enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Natalie, Lead Scheduler

Natalie, Scheduling Manager

Natalie was born and raised in the Portland area. She started with Home Instead as a CAREGiver for many years and has helped in many roles since coming into the office in July 2019. She has a passion for helping others and enjoys being able to interact with CAREGivers and clients. Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs. Her favorite place to be is on the coast with a camp fire making smores with her family.

Jennifer, Office Coordinator

Prior to coming to Home Instead, Jennifer had been a preschool teacher for over 10 years. When the pandemic hit, it was time for a change. Jennifer’s search led her to Home Instead where the vision statement resonated with her – “together blessing lives through courage, responsibility and love”. She began her journey with Home Instead as a CAREGiver and soon after moved into an office role. She firmly believes that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion regardless of their age or life circumstances. Jennifer keeps busy as a wife and mother of two children. She loves paddling with her dragon boat team and coordinating the food pantry at her church.
Brittany – On Call Supervisor

Brittany, On Call Supervisor

After years of being an at-home mom, Brittany felt inspired to start working part-time outside the home. Her search led her to Home Instead where she was hires as both a CAREGiver and an On-Call Supervisor. Brittany teaches her children to spread as much kindness as they can every day; and her work at Home Instead gives her so many opportunities to do just that. Brittany cherishes the relationships she has formed with clients and their families as well as the CAREGivers and office team. She says she could not ask for a better group of people to work with. She lives by our vision statement “to bless lives through courage, responsibility, and love,” and it shows in everything she does at Home Instead. Brittany is thrilled that she has found work that is fulfilling, and where she can support, encourage, and lift the lives of those we serve.

Brianna, On-call Supervisor

On a pursuit of a genuine and meaningful career, Brianna, a native Oregonian found a home at home instead. Her deep compassion for all walks of life made a good fit for helping those who really need love and understanding at a fragile stage of their lives. Brianna keeps busy raising her two little children and loves to explore the outdoors and to spend time with family.

Sophie, Business and Community Development Manager

Sophie began her healthcare career in Emergency Medicine in Aurora, OR – this eventually led her to the Senior Care Industry where she began as a Home Care Coordinator assisting Nurse Case Managers for a local In Home Care Agency in Beaverton, OR.  For the past several years, Sophie has served our Senior population and their families by assisting them in navigating Senior Living and Long-Term Care Community settings, as the Director of Marketing and Community Relations.  She has held community leadership positions and served on various boards such as the Cedar Mill Business Association, Meals on Wheels People, Memories in the Making, Beaverton Committee on Aging, Metropolitan Senior Network, as well as volunteering with the Beaverton Rotary.

Misty, Office Assistant

Like many others, Misty has had loved ones age and lose the ability to care for themselves. In witnessing that struggle, Misty always hoped for a loving solution that could help meet their needs. As a CAREGiver and on-call supervisor she found exactly that. She also provides administrative support in our office. Misty says she is so proud to work alongside other people at Home Instead who believes, as she does, that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, no matter what their needs may be.

After becoming a member of the Home Instead family over fifteen years ago, Lynnae has found it easy to embrace our mission of helping seniors stay in their homes. “Their homes are where the memories, the stories, and their legacy were created,” says Lynnae. She feels that working for Home Instead has truly changed her life. Lynnae also feels she has gained a new perspective on her priorities as she works closer with our aging population. “I am very blessed to work with individuals who share my same core values.“

My name is Nick Coale, I have been working in senior living for almost 9 years and have loved serving so many seniors. I grew up in Vancouver Washington and now live in Portland with my wonderful wife Emma and our son Aidan who is almost 2. When I am not at work I love spending time in the outdoors as well as golfing and going to sporting events. We are a Green Bay packers family and on Sundays you can find us watching football and making breakfast at home. One thing I really like about being at Home Instead is knowing that we are making a huge impact on seniors in need. I love getting the opportunity to pair wonderful seniors with great Care pros that make such a huge difference for seniors in our community

Jahir Portillo, Client Care Manager

Jahir has a B.S. in psychology from Portland State University and is a certified and qualified mental health associate. His experiences include the military, research, and working as a case worker and clinician of the day for people struggling with mental health crisis. He started his role as Client Care Department Manager with Home Instead in September 2023 and looks forward to helping improve the quality of life of one of our more vulnerable populations.
