Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) interested in providing personal one on one care with seniors in their homes? Home Instead of Hunterdon/ Warren Counties is looking for a nurse preferably a BSN for flexible weekday hours to add to our expanding team. The perfect candidate will possess a current RN license and be in good standing with the state of New Jersey and have two year minimum experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):
- Performing in-home client assessments and creating routine individualized care plans based on clients' specific care needs
- Perform introductions and supervision of CHHAs in the clients' homes.
- Client medication management
- Training and education of family members
- Coordinate with clients interdisciplinary teams for care
- Some evening and weekend client visits required
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey
- One year of Home Health Care (community health or public health) experience
- At least six months’ experience supervising certified home health aides is preferred.
- Clearcare/Wellsky experience a plus
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work with little direction
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
- Proficient computer skills (word, excel, email, etc.)
- Team player
- Has a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle, and willing to travel to clients home
