Home Instead, Inc., the leading provider of in-home care for older adults, welcomes new ownership to its Louisville office, which serves older adults and their families in Jefferson and Oldham Counties.

Steve Hendricks, of Louisville, has assumed the role of CEO for the office. Hendricks brings more than 30 years of experience in the care industry and will lead the franchise for an ownership group led by Trailcreek Capital Group, LLC.

“I am excited to continue the legacy and leadership Brent and Becky Beanblossom and Home Instead have provided the Louisville area for 22 years,” said Hendricks. “I am committed to delivering the same high-quality services that make Home Instead the in-home care provider and employer of choice in the Louisville area.”

Hendricks is committed to continuing the quality, dependable care all Home Instead clients and their families currently receive. He also says there are no staffing changes expected and the new leadership is currently hiring CAREGivers to expand services to more families in the community.

“I am grateful and proud to join an outstanding team who is passionate and committed to supporting people to live their best life in the face of aging," said Hendricks.

The Louisville office was opened in 1999 by the Beanblossoms and will continue to operate from its location at 4101 Taylorsville Rd. in Louisville.

“Transitioning the business to new ownership is bittersweet,” said Becky Beanblossom. “It has been our highest honor to work with and serve some of the finest people on the planet. We will miss Home Instead but are excited about how the company will thrive and grow with Steve’s leadership.”

Home Instead provides personalized care, support and education to help enhance the lives of older adults and their families.

“Brent and Becky Beanblossom built an amazing service for families in the Louisville community,” said Hendricks. “I look forward to building on their legacy and continuing to provide excellent services to local seniors and their families.”

Along with personalized care, Home Instead provides resources to families in the community which offer information and guidance on aging-related issues. Much of these materials are free and available to anyone through the office website.
