Andrew Bush (caregiver) and Larry Grissom (client) are our Professional Caregiver/Client Spotlight of the Month. Larry is a retired dentist who loves sports, his dog, and his two children. He had witnessed the care that a close family member received through Home Instead and knew to call once he began seeking help for himself. Larry and Andrew have similar communication styles and both love to plan. At the beginning of every week, they set aside time to sit down and plan their outings. They carry this same collaborative spirit into the rest of their work together. Larry also commented that Andrew’s encouragement has been a major contributing factor to his condition improving. Both Larry and Andrew are big sports fans. They often chat about football and even have the same favorite NFL team, the Tennessee Titans. Larry is a golf fanatic, which has rubbed off on Andrew during their time together. Larry said “If there were ever somebody I ever really needed to rely on it would be Andrew.”
