Nashville January 2022 Professional CAREGiver of the Month - Villetta D.
Villetta Dillard was chosen as our Professional Caregiver of the Month for January. Villetta goes by Ms. Dee. Ms. Dee states that before she came to Home Instead, she was working with several other home care agencies. She quickly left those agencies when she found her role as a Professional Caregiver at Home Instead because she felt that Home Instead gave her a chance to build a foundation here. She said is all started with trust and that the admin team allowed her to take the reins and do her job without interference because Home Instead leans into the training they provide. She states that she loves that she is working with one consistent client and that she has the ability to build a bond with that client and allowing that trust with Home Instead to filter through to her relationships with her client and their family too. She enjoys knowing that Home Instead, her client, and her client’s family trust her work ethics and dependability. Ms. Dee was chosen because she possesses the caring qualities of an outstanding Professional Caregiver by being a dependable support to her client, communicating well with the office, and understanding her purpose in allowing her client’s to stay safe and comfortable in their home. Ms. Dee and her client love to thrift shop together! They enjoy getting out of the house for a short period of time but then go back and look through all their treasures. Ms. Dee says her favorite music is Gospel. She loves the color purple, which she told us means royalty. Her favorite store is Publix. Her administrators said “We are thankful to have Ms. Dee be a part of our Home Instead team and represent building trust, taking the lead, and sharing her heart.”
