Meet Our Team

Kristin Dahlquist, DSW, MPH, Owner, President
Kristin Dahlquist, DSW, MPH is the Owner and President of Home Instead serving Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Lakewood, Centennial, Englewood, Cherry Creek, and the surrounding areas.
Kristin is deeply committed to improving the lives of seniors both locally and nationally. In addition to her experience at several Home Instead franchises, she worked at the Alzheimer's Association and served as her district's delegate to lobby in Washington, DC for funding for families and research. She created a short-film documentary to highlight the impact of memory loss on individuals living with the disease, their families, and their millennial children which premiered in Washington, DC to raise funds to find a cure for Alzheimer's Disease. Personally, Kristin has known Home Instead since its founding in 1994 - her family became the third family served by Home Instead for her great great Aunt Emily. This first-hand experience was the catalyst for the dedication she feels to change the face of aging, and change the way we care for our parents here in Colorado.
She earned her Master of Public Health degree from The Ohio State University and her Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She currently serves on the board of the Parkinson Association of the Rockies.
Reach her at kristindahlquist@homeinstead.com.

Robert Dahlquist, Co-owner and Vice President
Robert is the co-owner and Vice President for a company that means a lot to him. His great-aunt Emily Dahlquist was the third Home Instead client in the organization's history in 1994. A firm believer in supporting our loved one's wishes to age in place, he ensured both of his parents were granted that same wish.
Robert brings decades of public service and corporate human resources experience to Home Instead, and believes that each of our team members and Care Professionals have unlimited potential to continue to change the face of aging and remain the most trusted source of home care in the world.
Robert stays busy with three wonderful kids and five grandchildren. When he gets the time, he can be found trying new Colorado golf courses with his brother Bill and daughter Kristin.

Drew Thompson, General Manager
Drew is a numbers junkie (aka former accountant) with a passion fueled by serving and leading others. Having grown up in Omaha, he is very familiar with Home Instead. After spending time caring for his grandmother in her final years at home, Drew uncovered a sense of appreciation for providing the best possible experience for aging adults.
Outside of work, you can find him shooting professional firework displays during the summer in Nebraska, getting in his 10,000 daily steps and listening to a podcast about how to defy the aging process. His aspirations are to learn how to juggle and visit all 7 continents.

Barb Monaghan, Director of Client Experience

Danielle Minch, HR Manager
Danielle Minch specializes in recruiting and maintaining a positive, fulfilling experience for all Home Instead Care Professionals. She was born and raised in Sterling, CO and completed her degree at Colorado State University where she achieved a decorated Volleyball career. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and camping, and you will regularly find her cheering on her beloved (and often frustrating) Colorado sports teams.
Since joining Home Instead in 2017, Danielle’s grandfather has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Seeing her family's experience first-hand, her personal pursuit has aligned with the Company mission; to support aging adults and their families by providing in-home, compassionate, and dedicated Care Professionals.

Sam Gross, Office Coordinator
Sam Gross moved to Denver from San Diego, California. A writer by trade, Sam uses her excellent communication skills to match our Care Professionals with the seniors that we serve. She has an unmatched talent of connecting with people over the phone, always having a big smile on her face, dozens of post-it notes at her desk, and expressing herself with funky earrings!

Alex Fox, Service Coordinator

Morgan Rangel, Service Coordinator
Morgan is no stranger to caring for others. From helping to raise his nieces and nephew, to helping those who would need help without question. Morgan now takes what he's learned about kindness and applied it at Home Instead.
Starting out as a Care Professional, he was able to get boots on the ground experience to understand the love and support needed to care for a complete stranger and understand that person's story, while also making a friend in the process. It earned him the "Take The Lead" award for his commitment to building relationships and learning clients' life stories.
Now as a Service Coordinator, he applies all of this knowledge to do his best to help and serve others every day. Always hoping to put a smile on the faces of the friends that he's made along the way.
In his downtime, he loves to create, whether it be a painting, a story, a podcast, or a joke. Creativity is never in short supply for him. He also loves long hikes in the summer.

We cannot say enough about the quality and compassion this service provided. We are especially grateful for caregivers Dante, Maria, Blanca, Lucy, Mary, Patty, Barb, Julie and our care coordinator Julie. Without them, we could not have made it through this difficult time.
