At Home Instead, we love the opportunity to go out into the community to enjoy some fresh air and time with the great people of Hickman, NE. We recently took a lively trip back to the 80s at the Hickman Hay Days 2023 parade. The theme was "NEON: Let's Glow," and we dazzled the streets with our dedicated team, dressed in proper 80s fashion!
As the community gathered to celebrate the Hickman Hay Days, our Home Instead car made a striking appearance that perfectly embodied the neon spirit of the 80s. Our float transported everyone back to the heyday of iconic music with 80s-themed pictures and inflatable instruments. Our enthusiastic team members, clad in vibrant neon wigs, glasses, and accessories, added to the retro charm. Despite a bit of weather, the parade marched on, and we were met with warm appreciation from the Hickman community. We were delighted to be part of the parade, engaging with residents, families, and friends in a memorable and fun-filled way.
Hickman Hay Days show off the immense community spirit that makes Hickman shine, and we were proud to be part of it. While there were many exciting events during the festivities, the parade stole the show, reminding everyone of the importance of laughter, togetherness, and making cherished memories.
