Owners

Timothy R LaBeau grew up in Watertown, NY. He attended Cornell University, graduating with a degree in Economics and Management. He is married to his wife Ann (Nancy) LaBeau, and has 7 children, Kristin, Katherine, Elizabeth, Timothy, Ann, Allison, and Natalie, and one Grandchild - Adelaide. He worked in retail and wholesale food and drug, attaining the positions of President and CEO of Aldi, President and CEO of American Sales, a division of Ahold, and EVP and Chief Merchant at Duane Reade in NYC. His dream was to own and run his own business which brings him to Home Instead and Vermont. He enjoys participating in all sports.

Laurie Danforth

Operations Administrator

Laurie joined Home Instead in July 2016 and has since taken on a wide range of responsibilities. She currently oversees Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Scheduling, IT, Insurance Claims, and the Voucher Program, in addition to serving as a Client Coordinator. Laurie brings a wealth of experience to her role, including training in personal and dementia care and several years of hands-on CAREGiving experience. Her passion for supporting seniors and their families led her to Home Instead, where she finds deep reward in making a meaningful difference every day. Prior to joining Home Instead, Laurie built a successful career in the travel industry, where she accumulated over 30 years of management experience. Her natural ability to lead, organize, and care for others makes her an invaluable member of the team. Laurie is also active in the community, having facilitated the Be a Santa to a Senior program. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Sabrina Milano

Notary Public & Human Resources Manager

Sabrina Milano is a Human Resources professional with a decade of experience with both United States and Canadian based companies. Recently, she moved to Vermont from New Hampshire, though she would call Seattle, Washington her home as she resided there for nearly 20 years. A sports enthusiast, she is a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and moving to the east coast encouraged her love of hockey (Go Habs Go). Currently Sabrina is volunteering for the National Guard, through the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and is learning French. She regularly attends Vermont Human Resource Associate meetings to continue her education in Human Resources. She's been an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2011. She is studying for her credentials to become a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional. During her spare time, she enjoys bowling, biking, traveling and taking photos of the mountainous views. We are glad to have her as part of our Shelburne, VT team as the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator.

Colleen comes to Home Instead Senior Care after 10+ years in the office at Age Well (previously known as Champlain Valley Agency on Aging). She has extensive phone and customer service experience helping seniors, families, and caregivers. Colleen also cared for her Mother for 9 years. She lives with her family in Winooski.

Client Care Coordinator, Staffing Coordinator & Trainer

Wayne has been a part of Home Instead since 2018, serving as a Client Care Coordinator, Staffing Coordinator, and an Educator. Before this, he gained valuable experience in retail and restaurant management, but ultimately discovered that his true passion lies in senior care. With over 15 years of expertise in this field, Wayne specializes in dementia care. He understands the significance of delivering effective and thorough training to Care Professionals, empowering them to provide exceptional care that enhances the lives of the clients served by Home Instead. In his free time, Wayne enjoys hiking, fishing, woodworking, and continuously broadening his knowledge.
