Are you ready to be part of a supportive community with a flexible schedule to fit your lifestyle. Home Instead is seeking a dedicated person for our Caregiver~Flex position. Our mission at Home Instead is to enhance the lives of aging adults throughout our community. We provide high-quality, nonmedical in-home care for adults, seniors, and elderly individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia. This support empowers our clients to remain independent and comfortable, while receiving a one-on-one personal approach to their care needs.

We provide paid training, certification, and ongoing support for flexible scheduling for caregivers. We welcome seasoned professionals and individuals seeking a rewarding career in caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop, must have auto insurance
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Job Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Social Security Card, Birth Certificate and/or Passport. (Legal to work In United States).
• Proof of auto insurance (name on declaration).
• Own Vehicle or Have use of insured vehicle during shift. Insured Vehicle requirement.
• TB Test (negative) Required upon hire prior to orientation.
