Caregiver – Home Instead (Virgin, UT | Office in St. George, UT)

As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you’ll be working in Virgin, Utah, supporting aging adults with compassionate care that allows them to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes they love. Our office is based in St. George, Utah, and we proudly serve families throughout Southern Utah.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one care in the client’s home
- Assist with personal hygiene, transfers, and mobility support as needed
- Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Support clients with dementia or memory loss following personalized care plans
- Document tasks and observations according to policy
- Communicate clearly with the scheduling and client care teams
- Represent Home Instead’s mission and core values in every interaction
- Identify what a great day looks like for your client and try to bring joy to every interaction.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Proof of auto insurance
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift, transfer, and perform physical tasks as needed
- Commitment to consistent attendance and reliable communication
- Experience working with older adults or in a caregiving role (formal or informal)
- Familiarity with personal care and dementia-related support
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Competitive pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour
- Paid orientation and ongoing training
- Paid time off (after 60 days of employment)
