Cheryl is a kindhearted, energetic person with almost 30 years of experience in a variety of roles working with the senior community. She is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Stephen F. Austin State University. With a deep understanding of the aging process and well-being of seniors, she brings a unique perspective to Home Instead. Drawing on her past work experience, she has had the privilege of encouraging seniors to be active and remain independent. She created nurturing experiences where seniors thrived. Her deep-rooted passion for helping others, especially the elderly, has made her career fulfilling. Creating relationships and connections comes easily for her. Amanda Long joined our team as a Weekend On- Call Coordinator. She performs various administrative duties including answering incoming telephone calls, scheduling replacement CarePros as needed, performing client/ CarePro introductions, and caregiving if needed, supporting other staff members to provide the highest quality services to clients.
