Michael Boyd

Michael Boyd, Owner

Over 20 years ago a sweet caregiver by the name of Bonita helped Michael's father as he battled Congestive Heart Failure. Bonita came every day to help Mr. Boyd get dressed, eat nutritious meals, take his medications, bathe, get to the bathroom and make his appointments. She often sat with him to play cards or just watch TV. On top of that, Bonita was able to keep the Boyd home tidy. Because of Bonita's commitment to care for Michael's father, his mother was able to return to work and run the family business.

After a career in golf and commercial insurance Michael is excited to join Home Instead to positively affect the face of aging in our community. He has a passion for people, loves caring for others, and wants those in need to experience the same care Bonita gave to his father, and ultimately his family.

Michael has lived in the Tulsa area for over 30 years, has been Married to Jamie for more than 18 years, together they have 3 wonderful children.

Jamie Boyd

Jamie Boyd, Owner

Upon graduating from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Mathematics, Jamie worked in education as a secondary teacher for 20 years, during that time she attained a master’s degree in education administration. Known for her organization and attention to detail Jamie was recruited to Home Instead by her husband to manage the franchise office in Owassso, OK and support all systems of the operation. In the beginning her main duties included HR, Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. She also helped with scheduling, recruiting, hiring, training, and caregiving. She has been vital to the business and its growth.

When she is not working Jamie enjoys her children, her dog, napping and date nights with her husband (the most handsome man in the world).

Kaylan Self, General Manager

Kaylan Self, General Manager

A Colorado native, Kaylan holds a master's in early childhood special education from the University of Denver and has completed postgraduate coursework in Behavioral Analysis. After many years of meaningful work in early education and intervention, she transitioned into senior care, bringing a lifelong dedication to compassionate, individualized support.
As part of the Home Instead team, Kaylan finds deep fulfillment in providing respite to families and clients during times of need. She enjoys problem solving and takes pride in building strong, collaborative relationships with clients, their families, and fellow team members.
Outside of work, Kaylan is enthusiastic about health and wellness. She enjoys golfing, gardening, cooking, spending time outdoors, and practicing Pilates. She also loves being with her family and fiancé, Jordan, and shares her home with her beloved dog, Roxy, and cat, Birdie.
Leslie Millett

Leslie Millett, Client Care Coordinator

Leslie grew up in Dallas, TX and earned her degree from Texas State University. For the past decade, she has called North Austin home. Leslie transitioned into the home care industry five years ago, focusing on client management and building meaningful connections. She takes pride in fostering strong relationships with both clients and care professionals, ensuring quality care and trust.

Outside of work, Leslie enjoys spending time with her fiancé, two cats, and her energetic Blue Heeler. She also plays an active role in caring for her father and his lively kitten, balancing family responsibilities with her passion for helping others.

Jessica Compton

Jessica Compton, Service Coordinator

Jessica comes to Home Instead after a stint in medical transport services. She and her husband have 3 dogs- Asher, Alabaster, and Annabelle, 2 cats- Meow Capone and Meow Pacino, and a mini pig, Baberaham Linkoln. Jessica is proud of her daughter who just graduated welding school. She loves to cook, garden, craft, and play with the animals. During warm months you can find her and her family at the lake, pool, river, creek, any water really. “I am so excited to be part of such a great team!”

Cara DuPre

Cara DuPre, Workforce Development Coordinator

Cara DuPre is dedicated to delivering excellent support with a foundation of empathy and care. She brings extensive experience in training and development, organizational development, and talent management, helping individuals and teams grow while fostering workplaces that prioritize both performance and compassion.

Beyond her professional work, Cara enjoys camping, gardening, and caring for her two dogs, two cats, and one rabbit—interests that reflect her appreciation for balance, connection, and nurturing environments
