If there's one thing you can't have too many of in the kitchen, it's pot holders. As the Home Instead team was searching for local events, the MiY Adults: DiY Pot Holders event caught our eye because it looked like a great event for seniors and families to get out, connect with others in the community, and make something useful for around the house.
The workshop will be on Saturday, December 13th, at 10:30am at the Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail. You'll learn how to sew a simple, sturdy pot holder from scratch, then you can take it home to use for all those freshly baked holiday cookies! Since space and materials are limited, you’ll want to arrive a few minutes early.
