As we grow older, the world does not always give us many opportunities for play, imagination, and creative expression. It is so easy to push your art aside and get caught in the same daily routine. Doing the same thing every day in isolation is not healthy for anyone, which is why Home Instead is excited to spotlight a local event where you can flex those creative brain muscles and get out of the house to enjoy a favorite hobby with fellow artists around town.
The Creative Adult Art Class meets twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 3pm to 4:30pm at the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library, 795 Church St NE. August sessions focus on watercolors, so bring along a brush, watercolors, paper, a pencil, and an eraser. Each month welcomes a new artistic focus, so you're always learning something and challenging yourself to use new techniques to express yourself.
