Learn a new skill like knitting, quilting, and more at the DI Daniel Island Needleworkers Group! At Home Instead, we know that hobbies are great, but shared hobbies are even better. We’re happy to spotlight this local event as a way for seniors to keep their hands busy while meeting new people.
The DI Needleworkers meet on alternate Tuesday mornings, from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Daniel Island Library, 2301 Daniel Island Drive. From experts to beginners, join this group of encouraging neighbors and bring whatever portable project they’re working on and stay for a while to sew and chat.
The next session is January 13th, so pack up your supplies and get ready to meet some fascinating people at the library. Supporting these opportunities for community engagement is a big part of why we love providing home care in Daniel Island, SC, as it allows our seniors to remain an active part of the neighborhood fabric. We hope there's a wonderful turnout and plenty of beautiful projects in the works.
