I highly recommend this company, they have some amazing people working with them. My uncle can be difficult at times however Amanda (coordinator) Shay and Jackie are all gems. Amanda stops by to check on him even brought him cupcake on his birthday. Shay worked with him 3 days a week and quickly became part of our family when summer was over and she was leaving I was nervous about how he would adjust to someone new however with BIG shoes to fill Jackie came in and has been a delight she’s patient, thoughtful and supportive always willing to do more. I’ll definitely use this company again.
Home Instead provided exceptional services for our family. My mother Donna Lee recently passed away from ALS, her needs were complex and constantly evolving as her condition progressed. Home Instead listened to our special needs and was able to provide an evolving care plan throughout. They provided well trained, compassionate, loving care givers in our home the entire time allowing my mother to stay home instead of moving to a facility. I admire all the people throughout their well run organization and will continue to recommend them to families looking to provide the best care for their loved ones. We love Home Instead! My mom lives with me and after a bad fall I needed someone to help me take care of her during the day so I could sleep since I am a nurse. Emily takes such great care of my mom. She transports her to appointments, helps with her hygiene, encourages her to KEEP MOVING. She has truly become part of the family. Khala’s experience with dementia patients was obvious from the start. Her calm demeanor and perception of Papa’s needs allowed her to win him over in a very short period of time. She pays attention to changes in his day to day routine. She makes sure his health is being adequately monitored. This definitely gives us peace of mind while we are at work.

Home Instead was a life saver for my family during my husband's passing. They came in a took over the tasks we couldn't keep up with, as well as giving us the peace to sleep at night, knowing all of his needs were being attended to. Our overnight nurse Adrianna was spectacular and the care and concern she showed to the whole family was outstanding. We wouldn't have made it through this event without Home Instead.
Home Instead Rock Hill moved mountains to help provide us with overnight care for my father, getting us assessed and set up with our first carer within the same day. Our Home Care Coordinator Chelsey C. came and offered to cover the first shift that night, giving our family the first good night of sleep in a week. The care and concern shown by Home Instead was outstanding and they exceeded all our expectations. I can't say enough nice things about the treatment for my dad and the well being of our family. We couldn't have done it without them.

Stephanie M. is excellent and performing her duties well. She watched him bath and helps putting on his clothes. She makes bed, cleans bathroom, laundries and makes sure he has food and makes sure he doesn't strangle when eating. I recommend her as a good employee

Home Instead sent us Ann to take care of our mom. Though our mom was in memory care we wanted extra care for her. Ann was excellent and a great blessing to my mom and to us. She cared for mom over 15 months before our mom passed. Ann was like family. She was faithful to be there everyday. Ann was sick for several days and couldn’t be there but Home Instead quickly provided a care giver for mom until Ann returned. That was a great help especially that I live 4 hours away. Thank you, Chelsey and the other staff. Especially thank you for sending us Ann. I highly recommend this Rock Hill SC office.

The care was wonderful, especially by Wendy Hart and Pam Harrison. These women were professional, caring, and compassionate while caring for my husband as he battled the ravages of Glioblastoma. Wendy always brought a smile to his face with her bubbly personality. Pam showed him wonderful loving care. Both ladies respected his privacy, such that he could maintain his dignity. Thank you so very much. I will be forever grateful.

Chelsea and her team saved the day. With very little notice they stepped in to provide support for my father in law who was in a very difficult spot after surgery. Chelsea was professional, patient, and a great communicator. My father in law felt very safe with Jada who helped get him to appointments and he felt cared for by Kathleen who also did a wonderful job as part of his team. Overall, cannot say enough about the great care and communication from Home Instead, would recommend them to anyone.
Yesterday Deborah (Debbie) helped my mother join a field trip to the apple orchard. This was a great benefit for her to be able to get outside and we are deeply grateful for your ongoing kindness and gentleness in caring for her. When my father began hospice care at home, the Home Instead staff was an absolute lifesaver. They provided in home care to assure my dad was well cared for when our family couldn't be there. The caregivers were kind and attentive to all his needs, and we especially appreciated Crystal who formed a special bond with our entire family.
Home Instead was recommended by a Hospice organization while we were preparing to bring my dad home from the hospital. They were able to start services right away. All the caregivers were so kind, but there was one in particular, Crystal, who struck up an immediate friendship with my Dad. He even requested that she become his primary caretaker and Home Instead was able to accommodate our wish. Crystal went above and beyond to make sure my dad was comfortable, well fed, clean and cared for. We can't thank you enough for putting Crystal in all our lives, even if it was for such a short period of time.
My wife has been at home for over five months recovering from two strokes. Home Instead has provided home health care for her during this time. They have always managed to have qualified care givers show up for every appointment and give the services required. Even when we had to deviate from our regular appointment schedule, they had someone show up on short notice. Avril, the current provider has been here for the last 27 appointments without being late a single time. She has been very helpful whenever we ask her to provide the services we need.
We sought short term assistance from Home Instead when our mom needed extra care at her assisted living facility after she experienced a series of falls and then shortly after at the end of her life. Home Instead quickly found caregivers that were able to come during the times our family needed. The caregivers were kind and compassionate. They took time to get to know our mom. When we needed help a second time, same team of caregivers who knew Mom were scheduled to be with her again. We felt confident that our mom was in good hands when we could not be with her.

I want to commend Care Professional Heather Lindsey for her Quality Professional care for my husband John T. She started on Monday, May 6th and fit right in. Her friendly personality and knowledge of what to do and how to do was exceptional. Personal care for John and also laundry for me was a tremendous help. Our mother was suddenly and rapidly declining and both my brother and I live out of state, far a way. This service has been a blessing! My caregiver Deb, has given me the freedom to stay at home. She cares for me with love and grace. She fixes my lunch, helps take care of dog, and most importantly helps me to the bathroom! Having someone here, gives me the confidence to work towards becoming more independent.

Home Instead worked with me and my parents to find suitable help for moms needs and we/they hit the jackpot with Ann Marie. She & Mom really clicked. My Husband & I live in Lancaster SC. My terminally ill brother recently came to spend his last days with us. From the day I first met Patty I knew we could get the help all three of us needed. Hospice was also involved and when they visited the Home Instead caregivers could always add helpful insight. Chesley and Diane were constantly in touch with us coordinating all the caregivers. We had 24 hr care. It was important to have someone with us at night. Everyone was professional, very caring, personable and really good listeners when I needed a good cry. Linda & Don

Care has been good but some weekends iffy. Either no one showed or help was sub standard. Jayne has been wonderful with Mom. I wish we could have her always but I understand why that doesn’t work.

My mom is very pleased with the care that is being provided for my dad, it took her a bit to connect with the right caregiver but she really enjoys having Lori every day. She is most appreciative for Chelsey the client coordinator that has went above and beyond to help my mom with her long term care, and make sure my dad was taken care of and worked shifts till the perfect caregiver was found. Anytime we had concerns, they were there for us. When we have a new caregiver, Patty always comes to our home to introduce us. They have worked untiringly to make sure my wife was well taken care of. They are both deserving of recognition. They are Gold Star ladies.
Our present caregiver, Harlie, is awesome. She is particularly sensitive to my wife's needs. She comes in every morning with a smile and goes immediately to the bedroom to check on my wife and it's that way throughout the day, regularly asking ‘What can I do?’ throughout the day. She has a positive spirit. She is a Gold Star caregiver. Whenever she leaves, she always asks, ‘Is there anything I can do before I leave?’ She has bonded with Mary. My family, who come often, are very impressed with her.
Having Ollie come to our home to be a caregiver for Mom has been a true blessing.
Home Instead has been a wonderful blessing to our family in the care of my 96-year-old father. He is relatively independent but requires assistance with daily chores and has some limited health care needs. After carefully assessing our situation, the team at Home Instead selected a perfect companion to fit dad’s personality and special requirements (Lori). Lori has been a dependable confidante and provides the best care possible for dad. She understands the delicate balance between caring for the desires of my dad and staying within the boundaries of what he is able to do and accomplish on his own. Lori has become a trusted member of the family.
From a management perspective, the team at Home Instead is top-notch. We used a competitor for dad’s care initially for a brief period. Needless to say there were multiple issues. Home Instead came in and worked with us as partners, even assisting with the Long-Term care insurance filings and reports. Diane and Patty have been excellent. They have been accommodating and responsive. We couldn’t be more relieved and satisfied with Home Instead as our in-home care providers.
The staff is so caring and asks what they can do to help if they aren't sure. They are happy to accommodate light housekeeping, help prepare a meal, exercise my mom, and work on cognitive exercises . They are always prompt to arrive. Our interactions with them are wonderful - very easy to talk to and get along with. They felt like friends quickly. If I have special requests or changes they work quickly to take care of them.
Very satisfied with Home Instead Services. My brother has had some phenomenal caregivers. Shelby, one of his current caregivers, is great with my brother. I appreciate her so much and am grateful for the others as well.

Home Instead is excellent. I’m happy that somebody is with my husband when I have to go out. They’re reliable, they kept him clean, and they fed him. They came on time, I was not able to come home until one hour later than what I had thought and they were fine with that, I have no problems with them at all.
