I am finally getting a chance to send a note to THANK YOU for Home Instead’s care and concern this past summer after I recovered at home from knee replacement surgery. Having the option to hire in-home help that had been vetted and just paying a flat hourly fee was efficient and less worrisome than trying to do all that myself. The process was easy and I appreciate that your staff handled everything weekly and monthly.
I was apprehensive about having male caregivers (being an 81-yr old woman), but it worked out fine. I did have a few females as well and they were all very professional and efficient. Kudos to our raining program.
I am so glad that this service is available and will certainly encourage other people I know to take advantage of it and Thank You, Michael, for answering all my questions and making this process so easy.

I love all of my caregivers because they are compassionate, caring, fun to be around, and hard-working. They work hard to get all the tasks done, and very reassuring and make me feel at ease. My caregivers are like a breath of sunshine to me.

I am very grateful to have Home Instead as my in-home care provider. All of the staff treat me as if I am family. Kristi and Todd, the owners, Jenniffer, Natalie, Brittany, and all of the office staff, Mike, my case manager, all work together to provide the best in home care I could want. I am especially grateful they found two amazing care professionals, Craig and Max to provide me with daily care. I have been a client of Home Instead for years and I would highly recommend Home Instead to anybody who is in need of quality in home care.

Caregiver: Elizabeth
I write the following because I feel that just saying I’m “satisfied” or “happy” with the care I receive from Home Instead via Elizabeth misses the whole story. It doesn’t tell all.
I don’t recall when Elizabeth first became my caregiver, but from the beginning, she has provided excellent assistance. She learned my limitations quickly and helped me develop a routine for each appointment. An easy transition for me!
Elizabeth is always conscientious and thorough. She cares greatly about doing each task carefully and according to my specific needs.
She arrives on time and is always energetic and cheerful. (The latter especially appreciated on my more difficult days.)
Elizabeth often encourages my efforts to be as independent as possible. She often says “good job” or “you can do it.” When I can’t or shouldn’t “do it” she will say, “let me do that for you.”
She ends each appointment by saying “Is there anything else I can do for you?” As she leaves, she reminds me to continue doing my exercises and take walks as often as I can. She tells me I need to get better and/or stronger for my future.
Elizabeth has a natural instinct for caregiving. I have no doubt she treats each of her clients in the same helpful and compassionate way she treats me.
I don’t know what I’d do without her.

I have found the caregivers to all be very friendly. They also want to work with my schedule, and want to treat my home with the care and respect that I have for my home. My caregivers feel comfortable and they make me feel comfortable. They also are very respectful and careful about not spreading germs.
