What You'll Be Doing:
- Building Meaningful Relationships: Be a trusted companion and a consistent, positive presence in a senior's life.
- Providing Expert Personal Care: Utilizing your skills in Hoyer lifts, bed baths, and comprehensive bed-bound care, as well as assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Essential Home Support: Preparing nutritious meals, assisting with light housekeeping, running errands, and providing reliable transportation.
- Promoting Health & Safety: Offering medication reminders and ensuring clients maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
- Professional Communication: Acting as a key partner by communicating clearly and professionally with clients, their families, and the Home Instead team.
- Making a Lasting Impact: Helping seniors navigate the challenges of aging with dignity, compassion, and respect. Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia is strongly preferred.

Essential Qualifications:
To ensure the highest quality of care for our seniors, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a facility or in-home care setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Hoyer lifts, bed baths, and bed-bound care.
- Comfortable assisting with personal care needs, including bathing, toileting, and incontinence support.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to pass both a criminal background check and the Oregon ORCHARDS background check.
