At Home Instead, our Scheduler is responsible for scheduling great matches between Care Pros and clients to ensure client needs are being met. This role is ideal for someone with administrative assistant, customer service, or call center background and is comfortable working with computers and talking on the phone. Our clients' needs are one big puzzle and our Care Professionals are the pieces that make the clients' lives whole. What You’ll Do:
- Create thoughtful schedules that match clients with the right Care Professionals, fostering meaningful relationships.
- Answer calls with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help.
- Support our recruitment efforts by helping educate and coordinate Care Professionals.
- Monitor and respond to client and Care Professional needs with care and urgency.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure our ATS and scheduling softwares are up to date.
- Collaborate with your team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Participate in our on-call rotation (additional compensation provided).
- Share in the responsibility of maintaining 100% service coverage through contingency planning.
What You Bring:

- Comfort with technology (Microsoft Word, Excel; scheduling software)
- High school diploma or equivalent (business experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Ohio background check requirements
Schedule & Location:
- Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Office-based role with occasional field work
- Local candidates only (Akron & Medina, OH)
