Home Instead provided custodial care for my wife who had recently been discharged from the hospital after having surgery to remove a kidney stone. Terry and Lex were assigned to my home and both exceeded my expectations. They arrived at my home on time and immediately went to work servicing my wifes needs, which included personal hygiene, preparing her breakfast meal and cleaning up after afterwords.

Making the initial call to Home Instead was one of the hardest things I've ever done. For so long I've been denying that I needed help and some relief from the day to day demands of caregiving. And then our Care Pro, CF (for privacy purposes), came into our lives. It couldn't have been a better fit. It truly is as much for me as it is for my partner who has dementia. She's kind, attentive, gentle, caring and trustworthy. She takes the initiative to make suggestions of things they can do together and encourages him to venture outside his comfort zone, just a little, and I appreciate that. I hired Home Instead 8 months ago to come in and take care of my mother while I was at work. Home Instead has been wonderful for my mother, Her care professional team have been amazing to my mother. Sherry has been with my mother since we hired the company in August. She has earned my mother's trust and respect. Miranda A. and Tina L. joined my mother's care team in February, Sherry, Miranda, and Tina all 3 work together to ensure that my mother is receiving the best care possible. They all 3 talk with each other and leave each other notes in the Client Journal/ These 3 ladies are also great at communicating with me the care giver to make sure I know how her day went as well as any special instructions they may need as well as any observations that they make while caring for my mother. Mom's Client Care Professional Supervisor is also wonderful making sure that the Care Plan for my mother is correct and p to date with the latest information to meet my mother's needs. I am very pleased with the care my mother receives and the decision my brother and I made to hire Home Instead.

Home Instead was a part of my dear mothers life for almost 18 months! At first my mom was not happy with the idea of an unknown helper coming into her home, but it didn’t take long for her to stay comfortable and remain safe in her home. Home Instead provided a number of qualified and friendly care-takers, but our saving grace was Cate Spitler! She was with my mom up until her passing, and she even attended the memorial service. Cate became a member of our family, and she adored my mother. I can’t explain how much it meant to me, and my siblings, all the love & concern that Cate gave to our sweet mother; she was truly a blessing. A huge thanks to Home Instead, and ALL the wonderful caretakers out there💟
