Home Instead caretakers did a wonderful job in assisting my wife in dealing with her Alzheimer's. Even as her condition continued to worsen, they were able to continue to communicate with her and provide important companionship with great care.
Home Instead is an exceptional home care service! They provided an excellent caregiver in Jackie, who spent 3 to 4 days a week for several months with my mother. Jackie is capable, kind, punctual and definitely won my mom over--not a small feat! I would recommend Home Instead services to any family that wants exemplary care for their loved ones.

Very caring professionals
My parents now need help around the house. We have contracted Home Instead to be there for them three days a week. They laugh all the time when their provider, Rachael, is there. She is awesome. She can help them with the things they can't do without making them feel less adequate. So happy they can stay in their house.

I am very impressed with the quality of caregivers that this local company provides, and I feel very fortunate to have one of the best—Shanda B! Shanda has worked with Home Instead for over 10 years and has been a part of my life for most of those years. She started out helping me care for my husband during his illness. Then when he passed, I kept her on to help me just so that I would not lose her to another client. Shanda is a lovely example of the company’s motto “To Us, It’s Personal,” and I truly feel close to her and like she belongs with me in my home.
With Home Instead and Shanda’s help, I am able to continue to live independently at home at my advanced age. She cooks, cleans, grocery shops and runs other needed errands for me as I do not drive any longer. But most of all, Shanda provides the companionship that I need as living alone at my age can be very lonely and isolating. She brings laughter and an energetic spirit as well as a very caring attitude each day while working diligently to meet all of my needs. She is a mother of eight and grandmother to six but still finds the time to help me, and I look forward to her visits.
Recently, I had a severe case of COVID-19, and Shanda told the office staff that she wanted to remain on her scheduled shifts with me, and told me, “I am staying on, Mary”. I just don’t know what I would have done without her during this very trying time, and I am grateful to Home Instead office team for allowing Shanda to continue working with me. I highly recommend Home Instead home care services to anyone who needs a dedicated company with a very caring team.
We are so fortunate to have our Care Pro, Bob, working with us for over a year. As my husband is in a wheelchair unable to perform many daily tasks, Bob, assists with such tasks as replacing broken light fixtures and electrical switches; as well as putting up and taking down Halloween and Christmas lights and decorations. Bob has performed a myriad of small jobs that my husband can't do due to his injury.
Most importantly, he helps with my husband's health needs. He does exercise routines with him to increase his functional walking skills, arm strength/range of motion and hand strengthening. Over this past year, my husband has made great progress.
We appreciate all he does for us. His attitude is wonderful, always willing to help.
