Home Instead of Ocean County is looking to hire experienced Certified Home Health Aides for full-time roles guaranteeing 35+ hours per week(additional guaranteed-hour arrangements may also be available, such as 20, 25, or 30 hours per week). Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Provide companionship, conversation and emotional support to clients
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers
• Follow care plans and document client progress
• Administer Nurse Directed Services (if applicable)
• Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized environment
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Administer medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s and dementia care
• Provide transportation to appointments/errands as needed

Employment Requirements:

• Guaranteed Hours: Must be willing to travel within our northern and/or southern service areas based on client needs and assignment availability, and provide enough availability to support the requested guaranteed-hours schedule, which may include some evening and weekend availability. Additional details and requirements will be provided during the interview and screening process.
• Active NJ CHHA license, with 3+ years of experience as a CHHA
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to drive clients in your vehicle
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
• Physical exam and 2-step PPD/tuberculosis test completed within the past year
• Proof of MMR immunization

*Guaranteed hours is based on your availability and willingness to work/accept cases within our service territory.

Job Type: Hourly daily shifts, evenings, overnights, weekends - Schedule may vary week to week.

Hourly Rate: $22-27/hour based on experience and case type/location/time.

Location: Offices in Lakewood and Waretown, NJ servicing the entire Ocean County region and parts of Northern Atlantic County. Service territory includes Jackson, Lakewood, Toms River, Brick, Berkeley, Lakehurst, Point Pleasant, Mantoloking, Manchester, Browns Mills, Whiting, Seaside Heights, Bayville, Forked River, Lanoka Harbor, Lacey, Waretown, Barnegat, Manahawkin, LBI, Little Egg Harbor, Stafford Township, Tuckerton and more!
