Evelyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has more than 25 years of experience working with the elderly. Her past positions include: Director of Eldercare Services at Jewish Family Services of Central NJ, Director of Older Adult Services at the Jewish Community Center of Staten Island, and social worker at Maimonides Medical Center. She received her Master of Social Work from Yeshiva University-Wurzweiler School of Social Work in NYC and her Bachelor of Science from SUNY Albany. As the owner of HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE since 1999, Evelyn is proud to have made a difference in the lives of thousands of individuals and their families. HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE has given her the opportunity to combine her professional skills, her respect for older people, and her wish to be a successful entrepreneur. Tara has been a Registered Nurse for 24 years and has worked in a number of different settings including home care, emergency medicine, interventional cardiology, plastic surgery/aesthetics and most recently, care management. Tara has joined the Home Instead team with the goal of continuing to provide excellent patient care while expanding our footprint in Essex and Union counties. Tara is a very proud single Mother to her son Patrick (17) and daughter Kelsey (11). They live in New Providence. Chris is the former Owner of the Home Instead franchise office in Bergen County, NJ and has nearly 20 years of homecare experience. As current Director of Training and Retention, Chris oversees the recruitment, hiring, and training of all Home Care Professionals. Chris fully recognizes the importance of training and developing of staff to provide the best care. In addition, Chris is an advisor to the Board of Directors at Homecare Association of America's New Jersey Chapter and regularly meet with local legislators to advocate for the home care industry and senior community. He is committed to improving the quality of home care for all seniors. Chris is an avid Mets fan, runner, and loves spending time with his family. [email protected]

CHHA, CAREGiver Engagement Coordinator

Charlene has been an office administrator for over 30 years. In addition to her 20 years of experience working in a law firm, Charlene has also managed to fit 10 years of CAREGiving into her schedule, as she is very passionate when it comes to helping others. At HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE, Charlene has become a source of compassion and knowledge to CAREGivers and clients alike. Her responsibilities include onboarding new CAREGivers and ongoing supervision for all our CAREGivers. With Charlene's help, they become the best in their fields, resulting in unmatched service and satisfied clients. Charlene lives in Essex County. She likes to crochet in her downtime. As our Hiring Manager, Eliza's focus is on recruiting and retaining the top CARE PROfessional talent in our community to join our amazing team! Eliza is also tasked with finding new candidates for our CARE PROfessional training course to become NJ Certified Home Health Aides, and loves taking part in the professional journey of our trainee classes! Eliza received her BA in Psychology, and her MA in Organizational Behavior and Development.
