The Rowan Museum and the Historic Salisbury Foundation are currently presenting "Our Place in History," a nine-week course, running every Thursday night from 7 to 8:30pm through March 26th. The class will offer a deep dive into everything from the early days of Native American tribes and pioneer settlers to the Revolutionary and Civil Wars.
Most classes are held at the Rowan Museum, 202 N. Main St, but some sessions travel to other historic locations to give you a true "on-the-ground" perspective. You'll get to experience history where it happened, with behind-the-scenes tours of historic sites and insights from local experts.
