Part Time Assistant Scheduling Coordinator for Non Medical In Home Care

All of Cabarrus and Rowan Counties

Thursday, Friday and Saturday work week

$1000 Sign on Bonus-per requirements

Home Instead is the leading non-medical in-home care agency, with over 600 franchises around the world. Locally we proudly serve Rowan and Cabarrus Counties. Our busy office, in Concord, has an immediate need for an experienced Assistant Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

As a scheduler, you are responsible for the scheduling of our clients and caregivers, assisting with hiring , after hours on call and general office work. We are searching for a candidate with excellent communication skills, a positive viewpoint, and a passion for helping others. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Reflect the Values of Jaycare Corporation (d.b.a. as Home Instead, an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise)

  • Assist in scheduling our client’s and caregiver's schedules
  • Assist with hiring of caregivers
  • Respond to caregivers call outs, scheduling case immediately
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and caregiver’s scheduling activities
  • Ability to assist with on-call outside of business hours
  • Demonstrate effective communication with caregivers, clients, and their families
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities

Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • 1 year of scheduling or related business experience
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must demonstrate patience and congeniality while on the phone with caregivers and clients
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies, and procedures
  • Must have the ability to perform duties in a professional office setting
  • Must have the ability to operate office equipment and be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must possess a valid driver’s
