Recruitment Engagement Coordinator

Job Description
- Recruit Care Professionals through job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, and other recruiting efforts.
- Review applications, conduct interviews, and identify qualified candidates.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks, references, drug screens, and required documentation.
- Conduct or coordinate new-hire orientation, onboarding, and training.
- Maintain accurate employee files and ensure required credentials and paperwork remain current.
- Build relationships with Care Professionals and serve as a point of contact for questions, concerns, and support.
- Develop strategies to improve caregiver retention and engagement.
- Conduct caregiver check-ins, recognition efforts, appreciation activities, and other engagement initiatives.
- Help address caregiver performance or attendance concerns and communicate issues to leadership.
- Assist with matching caregiver availability and skills to current client needs.
- Work closely with scheduling to identify staffing shortages and prioritize recruiting needs.
- Track recruiting metrics such as applicants, interviews, hires, turnover, retention, and staffing needs.
- Maintain job postings and manage applicant-tracking/recruiting systems.
- Help create a positive company culture and reinforce Home Instead's standards and expectations.
- Assist with general administrative and office responsibilities as needed.
- Assist with urgent and emergency scheduling needs to ensure client care remains fully staffed and uninterrupted
- Provide direct caregiving support in emergency situations or when immediate coverage is needed
- Serve in the on-call rotation one weeknight weekly and one weekend monthly, assisting with urgent staffing and client needs as they arise
